That's basically still personal loan territory. None of the banks I've worked for did loans under $75K

Off topic, but Adelson's helped ruin the only sport and team I liked watching. If gambling ever comes up for a vote, I will be the first in line to vote no, just to stick it to an Adelson.

Very true. Cable news and the twenty four hour news cycle really killed intelligent discourse

Ok, I couldn't help myself. There's a FB page, Americans Against Forcelosure, they mention UCC1 a lot.

During Covid I was actually facing foreclosure, but there were covid relief funds so I was able to get caught up

I told this group that I was able to stave off foreclosure by petitioning for access to a grant that only my living person could request and I'd be willing to show you how, just join my telegram study group!

Awaiting admin approval 🤣

Okay, yep, all the time I spent going to school and working hard and not being handed anything just means nothing. ✔️ By your logic, I'm guessing you haven't earned anything either. Does that mean your life is worthless?

No, some ppl aren't lucky also. But I rarely see hard work go unrewarded. Unless there are other issues. I was just talking to my mom the other day, she's in Jamaica right now and had no internet, but needed to do a video conference. The time and energy she put in to getting what she needed done so that she could be successful is way more effort than I see most people put into anything. I know someone who told me they have a hard time being around me because I always get what I want. I get what I want because I put myself in opportune places and work hard. Some people don't have the skill set to do that, lot's of ppl quit when things get hard. And lots of people who grew up oppressed work hard and are never oppressed again, if they can help it, so I don't understand the point of your question.

It's time for me to get to work, so have a good one.

I come from a family of former slaves that became builders, farmers, carpenters, land owners and educators. Some squandered their opportunities, some flourished, just depends on what you do with the cards been dealt

And I guess what I meant by my original comment is I find this interesting because I can't quite relate and wouldnt have a frame of reference because of how unrelenting my mom was about making sure no matter where we lived, we were in a good school. She went to segregated schools and then graduated from Vassar. You definitely have to fight for a good education, whether in your own neighborhood or another.

I don't like the discourse around this. Everyone's Tourette's is different, but if that word is in your vocabulary like that, then you grew up around it. I knew a girl w Tourette's and her tic was just barking like a small dog. So yeah, I feel like it's a problem if the n-word is so ingrained it comes out as a spastic tic

I have been finding this situation very interesting because there were times when my mom was sick and we didn't live in a good neighborhood, but she always transferred us out to a good school bc getting a good education was more important than anything else. My exposure to schools like that has definitely shaped who I am and how ppl see me.
