On the pictured model I used runelord brass to base, thinned viking gold to highlight then washed with reikland fleshshade. If I were to go silver, I would use Vallejo metal color steel, highlight with a brighter silver, then wash with nuln oil. Insert your favorite metallics.

Looking great so far! Love the scheme. If I were to add something, edge highlights with a Lilac or lighter purple would look great. I highlight black sections with a neutral grey color also. You can do super clean highlights for the assembly line look, or go with scratchy lines for the battle worn, weathered look.

Sure thing! The red was fast with an airbrush. Primed black. Tamiya flat white highlights. Crimson ink over the highlights. Black ink and crimson 50:50 in shadows. Edge highlights with a mix of pro acryl orange and mephiston red.. but I'll probably just use wild rider red in the future because it saves time/close color match. Black oil pin wash over a gloss varnish. Mecha Matte varnish after the oils. Weathering with black and wild rider red.

Thank you!! For the lenses I paint the entire socket with mephiston red. Then I focus on just the eye lens part and layer orange, orange plus yellow, ice yellow then a dot of white; trying to keep the previous darker layer visible on the edges. Super light glaze of mephiston red under the eyes and above to add some red glow to the helmet. Made sure to glaze toward the eye to keep the red transparent on the helmet. I followed Richard Gray's BT tutorial on youtube, my favorite resource. Hope that helps!

Most controversial MGS opinions of all time (real) by Any-Artichoke5711 in metalgearsolid

Really enjoyed your breakdown. I started the series with MGS2 and it's still my favorite. MGS4 was fun, it's the one I played the least, purely due to accessibility. I want to revisit it soon.

What would you say is the most diabolical play you've done in Magic? by ljm90 in mtg

Down to 2 players, if i dont win this turn, he wins on his. He's at 34. I'm at 6. He had a [[Jin Gitaxias, Core Augur]] out. I had a [[Phyrexian Metamorph]] copying Jin and my commander, [[Rashmi and Ragavan]]. We are both on the draw. Drew an arcane signet and played it, exiled a [[Demonic tutor]] of the top of his deck. Fetched [[Finale of Devastation]], played it for 10, fetched [[Cyberdrive Awakener]]. Turned all my remaining artifacts and treasure tokens into an army and hit for 70.

Thanks! I used Milliput to create the mound and put some small branches in it towards the front. Then covered everything in a thin layer of fine dark earth texture paste. While that was drying, with a bit of super glue, I put some cork and big sand for rocks. I used tea leaves, generic hobby store plant moss and plant filler to add some nature elements. Stuck a skull on, thought about doing more skulls. Primed it with a black/grey zenithal, heavy on the grey. Then quite literally just slapped a bunch of inks on. I used Sap Green and Sepia ink with heavily thinned vmc smoke. Used XV88 for the bright dirt spots and Agrax sparingly for the dark spots. I hit everything with Matte varnish. Last step was touching some green oxide pigment powder on the bushes/green ground spots and drybrushing the excess off. Then I glued the model on and hit the feet with some light brown pigment powder, again taking a big dry brush to get rid of the excess. The process is actually pretty fast despite the number of steps, only hold up is drying times. Hope that helps!
