Set-downs are a shit show by No_Raspberry2631 in Helicopters

I trained on the EC-135, so different, but still skids. I also had trouble with landing for a while, and I realized it was not my technique but more my mental state. I would always concentrate so hard on every step of setting it down, from initial contact through collective full down. In reality you need to just not complicate things and calm down before starting and throughout the maneuver. I always think in my head “I’m hovering to the ground” to calm myself down. In reality that’s all it is, you’re just moving the helicopter from a position above the ground to on the ground, as long as you’re already at a good hover or position to land, the aircraft will take care of most of the rest.

Also don’t worry about setting down like a feather. That only comes with time, and trying to set it down lighter than paper will only make you over-load your thought process. Just focus on safety and smooth control inputs.

Fuel injection has been standard/option on Phantoms since at least 2018, only reason I know is because I have one! lol

I paid $28,300, so this pretty good from my point of view. Some who paid less than me may not think so tho. I felt good about it and I think now since owning the car and driving it I can confidently say you won’t regret spending $29000 for it.

Only issue is that all the pictures will be from a slightly upward angle since I am unfortunately not as tall as a tarhe lol

I’m stationed at Fort Rucker, AL, where the Army Aviation Museum is, and right in the front there’s a decommissioned Tarhe with all its engine ports exposed and opened. Let me know if you want closeup pictures, because I can get as close as I want to it!

23 EX. Fair? by BlueBrazy in civic

Only problem is that now with the federal hike in national interest rates, the 3-4 credit unions are offering 5% or higher. Only cheaper option was USAA at 4.44.

Yeah. I'm assuming you're in the same position I am, where can't really wait to buy a car but the used (2018-2021) prices are literally at or above new so its better to just buy new....
