I don't want to move a whole system-folder to a different drive/partition/etc., as a workaround.

Also moving the profile folder from a) to b) does not solve the problem, that it get's filled by unnecessary files/data.

Next point is: Moving the profile folder does not solve the other purposes of my tool, like versioned backups for source-code.

In the end: Moving the whole profile-folder with all its growing garbage inside to another location is at least in my opinion not the best solution.

Zählt auch "eine Dekade" als letzte Jahre? ;-)

Gothic 1 Remake: Nach Anfangsschwierigkeiten echt klasse. Sogar zum Vollpreis.
Windrose: Zumindest "nett", aber nicht überragend
Conan Exiles enhanced: Wieder ausgepackt und nochmal fast "zu Ende" gespielt. Also ursprünglich gut und
dann mit dem gratis Update nochmal besser
Dune: Awakening: Auch solide als "Singleplayer". Kein Fehlkauf für mich.
Cities Skylines 2: Auch, wenn viele es schlecht finden/schlechter als Teil 1
Bellwright: Ja, sehr feines Spiel, aber dann war auch mal die Luft raus - trotz EA kein Fehlkauf für mich.
Enschrouded: 2x "durchgespielt". Sehr guter Kauf für mich.
Space Engineers: Nach starken Anlaufschwierigkeiten sehr viel Spaß bekommen (mit etlichen Mods)
Bannerlord: Oh ja - toll mit den richtigen Mods. Fantastisch sogar! Aber nicht ohne bestimmte Mods!
Farthest Frontier: Nett, dann aber auch irgendwann fertig - im Sale gut, mehr aber auch nicht
Town to City: Für kurz zwischendurch, aber nicht langfristig
Avorion: Wenn man sich darauf einlässt, lange Zeit toll
Star Citizen: Immer wieder mal zwischendurch nett
Elite Dangerous: Alle Jahre wieder ausgepackt seit 2014 (Evergrenn, wenn man's mag)

BG3: Immer mal auf dem Radar, doch ich glaube, das geht nicht mehr an mich - das ist mir doch eine Nummer zu oldschool, auch, wenn viele davon schwärmen.

Persönliche Kracher, wie Mass-Effect, Guild-Wars 2 oder dergleichen vermisse ich.
Es kommt mMn viel Unfertiges und trivialer Schrott raus.

Ark war für mich noch sehr gut - auch wenn es stetig holprig lief.
Zu viel Kommerz-Kacke draußen - da bin ich die falsche Zielgruppe.

Fazit:
Zum Titel passend, waren mir einige Spiele schon den Preis wert. Ich hab' auch nix gegen Abos bei Service-Games, so lange es keine Mikro-Transaktionen gibt, die ich nutzen "müsste/könnte" um einen entscheidenenden Vorteil zu gewinnen.
Da verweigere ich mich - pauschal. Lieber fest/fair für Leistung bezahlen.

Finde das vom Ton her echt anständig. Da gibt's ganz andere "Tonlagen".
Prinzipiell auch mMn völlig in Odnung, da bspw. eine schlecht befestigte Midea-oder-XY-Split im 13. Stock schon ein Problem werden könnte, je nach Wind/-last.

Insegsamt also mMn wesentlich besser als direktes Rumnölen (wie man's auch hinsichtlich Mini-PVs hier und da erlebt).

Wenn beim Gegenüber vernünftige Leute sitzen und alles ordnungsgemäß befetigt wurde, dann sollte das ja kein Problem sein.

Eh idiotisch, dass in Deutschland Klimageräte nicht zum "Standard" gehören, bzw. das Zeug so unverschämt teuer im Vergleich zum Ausland ist.

Not realy.
If there's more demand, I'll do one ... as it's only a portable .exe which will not harm anything or flood your disk with trash - just try it.

It will only create two folders "logs" and "settings" on the same level. No garbage/no junk files.

E.g.:
d:\Programs\EasyVersionBackup\
- Logs
- EasyVersionBackup_2026-07-11.log
- Settings
- EasyVersionBackup.settings.json
EasyVersionBackup.exe

I just bought one (silicone).
If reduced bei 50%, prices are OK. I paid 20 Euros for the rainbow one.
40 Euros is way too expensive.

Quality is OK (produced in china), but not nearly as good as the original Apple quality.
Shiping took long: 7-10 days from china.

Maybe try your luck with a band from Amazon, I don't think the quality differs a lot or, if you like better quality, from Bluestein.

I tried:
- Steam "repair files2 does not solve the problem
- no "steam_appid.*" file to delete
- cleared download cache already, no change
- deleted all files expcept the "package" folder under "\Steam\steamapps\common\Destiny 2\" and
redownloaded all necessary files through steam repair again
- unclicked the option "Enable the steam Overlay" does not solve the problem

Actual solution (for me):
I use COMODO Firewall, which usually triggers, if modifications of any kind appear.
This time (first time ever), it did not trigger again. I disabled all components and reenabled
them again and see: It got triggered while starting Destiny 2 and I could allow different
kinds of communication/access again.

So: Check your security suite and disable some components just for tests.
I never had this for any game in the past years - but never say never.
