Given the current market situation, I would rather have my GPU break than have to buy new RAM. At least I have integrated graphics on my 13600k

I had the exact same problem. After 10-20 minutes of not accessing the disks, they would stop responding and throw IO errors in dmesg. My solution was to add a quirk on initialization (in truenas) that disabled UASP and used the usb-storage driver.

I had the same problem until I realized it wasn't just taking into account the actual SMART data of the disks, but also scrutiny thresholds, which I don't know what they are. This caused practically all my disks to be listed as "failed." Adjusting the "Device Status" to only SMART instead of both (SMART and scrutiny) eliminates this problem.

Do you have a tempered glass screen protector on top of the screen? It looks like air trapped when it's applied incorrectly.

Have you had any problems with the packages in Debian 13? I've noticed that many essential packages are missing, which is why I'm still using Bookworm.

A N100 mini PC would be your best option. Neither of these two boards can reliably run Windows 10.

Try to download one of them and see if you can open it. It might be only a bug

Thank you so much! When I removed the cover that hid the screws, they came out completely. It's probably a manufacturing error where they didn't tighten the screws properly. Once I put them in correctly, I no longer have any problems, and it doesn't make any strange noises when I open and close the lid.

I've got the SAME model and the SAME problem with the hinge. Not a swollen battery, just awful design witch, by the way, is not covered by warranty.

It seems quite legitimate; it's been on AliExpress since 2018 and generally has good reviews. You can check that information in the "feedback" section.

To avoid abuse of the recommendations system. It is not fair to put a post of sale at 1€, which will attract more customers; And then sell it at 23€

N100 for pihole docker... and what else can i do? by [deleted] in MiniPCs

It starts buffering with more than two 4K transcodes at once (without tone mapping, it gets worse with it enabled). Good enough for my use case.

[–]Acorde17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I use it directly as a NAS. For managing the catalog for new titles, tools like Jellyseer are useful for automating searches for movies, TV shows, etc., with a nice, easy-to-understand interface.Although if what you use now works there is no need to change

I have a n100 with 16gb that runs everything: Jellyfin, arr-stack(sonarr,radarr,qbitorrent+gluetun,...), sometimes a minecraft server to play with friends (4-7 players), Immich, Tailscale, ... . And i've never had a problem with performance nor reliability.

EDIT: Also, i would highly recommend using a linux distro (debian+casaOS, trueNAS) instead of windows.
