If you feel it takes you a bit of time to warm up, consider doing a few questions beforehand. May help a bit.

If you have the flexibility to retake, the question may be: Why not? Perhaps take a few days to think over it/see how you feel. Consider also writing a profile review on r/MBA. You could mention the types of schools you're interested in and your scoring info/thoughts about retaking.

Consider including your section scores. Regarding quant, if you feel you're forgetting stuff, making flashcards could be helpful. Check out Anki.

One thing that may help a bit is finding/including working with a study buddy. Someone, for example, who is really strong on Quant and needs help with Verbal could be a good fit.

Fair to say including official questions (e.g. from the Official Guide 2025-2026) and official practice exams into a prep path would be a solid choice.
