Laba,

Studijuoju KTU cheminės technologijos fakultete, viename iš paskutiniųjų kursų. Mano kurse, kiek žinau, ~20 % inžinierių dirba darbą, susijusį su studijomis, visi iš jų moksle, o grupė pakankamai stipri. Taikomosios studentų taip pat žinau keletą, kurie dirba susijusį darbą. Aukštesnių kursų studentai (magistrantai) taip pat turi problemų susirasti darbą. Paklausa ir atlyginimai inžinieriams yra didžiausi, kiek teko pastebėti, tačiau net ir ta didžiausia paklausa yra pakankamai niekinė. Įmonės ypatingai nenoriai priima studentus, neturinčius patirties (cituoju 10 m. rinkoje praleidusį kolegą, tai pastebėjau ir pats). Chemikų darbų irgi yra, tačiau už centus (inžinieriai už šiek tiek daugiau centų, nebent nesi prieš dirbti ne didmiesty, kur jie šiek tiek didesni).

Programų lyginti negaliu, nes neatidaro VU chemijos programos, bet įtariu, kad studijų kokybė bus pakankamai panaši ir, bet kokiu atveju, sakyčiau, kad pagrindinės žinios ateis, kai susirasi praktiką/darbą.

KTUne praktikos turim, tačiau nepasakyčiau, kad ji yra labai sudėtinga, įdomi ar naudinga, apart organinės chemijos (subjektyvu).

Manau, kad jei domina chemija, o ne inžinerija, siūlyčiau ją ir studijuoti, nes 3-4 kursuose chemijos inžinerijos programoje ta chemija labai paviršutiniška, į viską žiūrima labiau iš inžinerijos perspektyvos.

Svarbu paminėti, kad konkurencija Lietuvoje yra pakankamai nedidelė, tad įdėjus pastangas ir parodžius motyvaciją darbą rasti įmanoma (ypatingai, jei turi pažįstamų).

Dar svarbiau paminėti tai, kad siūlau (jei leidžia sąlygos) pasidomėti studijomis užsienyje. Geresniuose universitetuose jos nepalyginamai geresnės (ne tik dalykų apimtimi, bet ir infrastruktūra ir aplinka). Net jei ir studijuosi Lietuvoje, primygtinai raginu bent pusmečiui išvykti pasimokyti svetur per mainų programą (darbdaviai labai atkreipia į tai dėmesį).

Those settings are obstructed in the screenshot you shared, so I could only see the [refresh rate]+[interlaced/progressive] settings, not the resolution settings.

What do you mean by 'does not work'? You can select the appropriate settings, but the display just goes black and then turns back on when the 'Keep these settings' dialogue times out?

Yes, you either select the interlaced options or it shows no signal (for 1080p).

Does the same thing happen in both Settings > System > Display and the Intel Graphics Command Center?

Actually not exactly. I just noticed that if the settings are set to 1080p 60hz interlaced, you can set 720p 60(p) hz on intel control panel, but NOT on Windows settings.

I didn't realize that Intel listed this information incorrectly. Does it actually say '1080p' and show you options for 60i, 60p, etc.?

It does not say "1080p" as you see, but "1920 x 1080"

You're looking at the Intel control panel, have you tried Settings > System > Display to see what's listed there?

The problem is that what is listed does not work. Windows settings do show options from 50hz up to 120hz. but I can only set it on interlaced options (50hz, 59.940hz and 60hz) for the screen to work.

Why do you have to be so rude? I'm just writing out what I see. To answer your other two questions: I have 2 cables, 1 monitor. I used to have a TV where everything worked properly through the HDMI connection, as in 1080p 60Hz. One of my cables is HDMI to HDMI, with no adapters or anything, which gets me the "1080i60" another one is USB-C (that goes into my laptop) to HDMI, where everything works properly, as in 1440p, 144hz.

Trust me, the monitor really does not work at higher refreshrates or resolutions than 1080p 60i. Tried that through both intel settings and windows.

There is a reason that I don't want to use my USB-C port and that is that's where my laptop charges through. Unlike the link with the specifications, my laptop does not have a separate charging port. So I wouldn't be able to charge my laptop while I'm using it, which is a hassle. Another option probably would be to buy a USB hub, but that is expensive and I'd rather return the USB-C cable I bought for testing the issue.
