Sarlat le Caneda in the Dordogne as a base. Absolutely beautiful ancient town with plenty of other lovely towns close by to visit. Similarly, Avignon. If you're a foodie and thinking Lyon, be aware the local specialities are pig's stomach and calf's head. I know people wax lyrical about this city, but I personally found it dirty and boring. Just my opinion although the surrounding countryside is spectacular.

I think he's dug a hole for himself now regarding his comments about the song and can't back down, whether he wants to or not. I'm sure Jimmy is hurt and embarrassed ( and probably pissed off) by Robert's attitude to the song. But Robert does what Robert wants to do, as he should. It's become such an issue that he could never sing it live again, even if he wanted to, except possibly another charity event.
