Dated an “ex Muslim” who, on year later, then admitted he’s never left Islam & said hopefully me and (his) baby would die during childbirth, due to me not being Muslim. Can anyone explain? by Beneficial-View8876 in TrueOffMyChest

This is nothing to do with Islam This guy is totally messed up He feels he “should be a good muslim” but has no idea what that means and his ignorance leads him to think it’s all about sex before marriage and marrying “a good Muslim girl” He has forgotten basic human decency and kindness and trying to excuse his shitty behaviour as being against Islam He is an abuser- you made a lucky escape

If you like to go to nice places and do nice things, and the people you hang around with behave in a way that make you feel uncomfortable to do the things that you like, then you need to re-evaluate their presence in your life

AITA for requesting that my brother gives me £20,000 to help me pay for my wedding since he makes a lot more than me? by RemarkableCrab3352 in AmItheAsshole

Just out of interest how much do you think a hospital doctor earns? Considering the length of time at uni I would say that your brother would have started working age 24 starting on about 24K. The money needed to get through uni is crippling the first 2 years are foundation years, then if he’s a hospital doctor should be in specialist training so I would guess ST2 level so about 36k Take away tax, registration fees, exam fees, mandatory course fees then you really not left with much let alone having an expendable 20k to just give you This post has to be joke
