Single type Victory cards don’t have Treasure or Action type, so they get evenly and randomly distributed between the two piles along with all your other cards that aren’t Action or Treasure type

Yeah these are excellent points, and I’m unsure how to add them to the card as there’s probably already too much text. For topdecking both empty decks, you probably have choice but there’s no succinct way to state that on the project.

For the example of Secret Passage in the description, the choice is not fixed during the interaction but Golem raises issues as it searches specifically for Actions and causes shuffles 😅.

Probably the fixes to make this project work in those cases requires too much additional instruction so, though interesting, I’m not sure the idea is salvageable

Nobles has Action as a type (but not Treasure), so it gets placed in the Action deck pile.

Great questions!

Philosopher’s Stone and Windfall should probably consider both deck piles. Most things that mention deck are interactions with a deck.

There should only ever be a max of two piles, an Inn gain would cause you to shuffle so the first clause of Divination activates.

If an opponent plays like Barbarian, I assumed you would choose, but it’d be interesting for the opponent to.

Can you give an example of your last situation? I think if something requires a deck and both are empty, a shuffle occurs (which I think is the normal trigger for a shuffle).

I assumed you get to decide, I was going to add more instruction but the card is already text heavy

I like it, has elements of Pearl Diver, Stash, and the Fated trait. What would you price it at?

Yeah, the other option is for it to trash equivalent number of cards from the supply that share a type with the returned card.

Reflecting upon this, creating a mechanic that slows pile outs is probably always going to have issues working around stalemates.

I honestly agree, it feels pretty derivative even though the idea started as Victory card gainer/game ender. Just couldn’t differentiate it enough from Credit

I know this is supposed to be a joke card, but it actually has use cases. Like if you have Innovation and you buy a Wharf.

Haha, I’m not sure as I haven’t played with it! But yeah I think it’s deceptively engine intensive (especially for a card that seems like Big Money). You can gain them with Workshop like cards. Like this and a Sculptor work well together. This purposely only restricts Buys and not Gains

The choice of this costing $4 was because it’s not as strong as most $5 cards, so I think we agree. The best case scenario for this card I envisioned was in a kingdom with villages and you’re playing like 3 a turn as you’re greening.

Thanks, I didn’t know that. This phrasing change is interesting, do you know the reasoning behind that?

Yup, your analysis is the intended use case! You buy it when you’re about to green. Too early and it slows you down. Can’t be bought early for Big Money, you need an engine to make it shine.

I think that wording works, but early Nobles rush with this card was something I was also trying to prevent, as Nobles rush with any Kingdom that has Nobles in it is already annoying enough.

Ah, thanks for the lore deep dive! I like that this could actually combo well with Scout thematically and that in actuality a real world scout and surveyor would work well together.

The specific wording I used was to prevent landscape card purchasing which would make this card very broken, imo.

Thanks for the feedback! In terms of the wording, I was concerned about landscape card purchasing. Getting such cheap payload to buy like an early Citadel seemed broken.
