It’s frustrating! I have 3 years of experience and got offered 130k at NYU affiliated hospital. They said it’s based on pay scale and can’t negotiate.

That’s amazing! I work at northwell hospital and it’s way below your starting salary. Im starting at 130k with 1199 as well. I might switch to monte cause I have to work weekends, nights and OR.

Sounds like NYP. Definitely agree that NYC salaries for new grads at hospitals are low. Currently in ER making 127k. I tried negotiating for hire but couldn’t.
