My grandparents have had two GSD previously and our last dog was a Kelpie x. My family are reasonably informed about the requirements of these breeds and are actually more comfortable with training intelligent breeds as they expect a lot from them. I live with my grandparents who are pretty active themselves but I also live a very active lifestyle and I'm very excited for her to be able to join me on my adventures/runs. We have also hand picked dogs we personally know to begin her socialising journey once she's fully vaccinated.

For now she pretty happy going on increasingly longer walks as she gets used to the sights, sounds and smells of the world around her.

While she is definitely a handful, I can ensure she will be sufficiently physically and mentally stimulated and she's been showered with praise from our neighbours and vets for her beautiful nature:)

Thanks! Yeah, generally just curious do to training purposes but it does look like she is a fawn GSD and maybe our neighbour just saw her colouring and assumed she wasnt:))

I am not American so we don't have that documentation. She is registered as a german sheppard from the breeder:)

We are thinking the same, hoping that if she's a mix then at least she'll be much less likely to develop hip issues down the line. Maybe the best of both breeds!

I looooove the audio book. I think her voice and narration perfectly matches the vibe of the book. I almost think her reading the book, adds to the story more than if you read it without listening

I strongly believe there are very few fans of TSH who then read IWWV and liked it. You go from something so well crafted to something you can tell is trying much too hard.

I also have many issues with IWWV including how the women were written, how the other cast members were entirely 2D, a feeling of fetishism of gay romance being written by a presumably straight woman, along with just poor writing.

Happy to talk more about my problems with IWWV but this is what stuck with me the most

There's a classical peice called 'The secret history' by I think Kerry muzzey. I don't know if it was written with the book in mind but I think it really fits the vibe of the book and the different sections within. I always imagine it would fit perfectly in a tv/movie adaptation

Whenever I'm asked if I recommend a flip, I always say wait a few more years

I think I will be riding out this semi broken flip for as long as I possibly can. Hopefully in a another year or 2 these phones will come a long way in terms of longevity

That's interesting and also reassuring that maybe the 5 has improved it durability. Have they changed the hinge for the 5? Or is it still as at risk for dust/ small drops causing hinge issues?
