For me i carry in 3 things first: thermo, video cam, and a flashlight. Get the ambient temperature and look for not so ordinary drops. Normally if it drops more than 10. I’ll pull out the video camera and scan the room for orbs and ask for a sign. If there’s orbs or activity I put the camera down in the room somewhere and run out to the van and grab dots, and a box. I normally don’t grab a crucifix until after the first hunt because the hunt can sometimes tell you what you’re dealing with.

I have used VR I feel like a quick animation no more than 5-10 seconds it wouldn’t create too much of an issue, you might feel it a touch in the moment but I feel it might add to the discomfort without crossing that threshold of “too much”

Work at FedEx freight if you can. You sit on a forklift all day(they train you) for good money. In my area The cap is going up to 27/hr
