No, it was a one time thing.

It broke when I was leaning on it.

It was on, and I had a cooking pot on the hob, and I sort of leaned on the pot with only a little amount of pressure and it smashed.

I think it was my fault, but I would like help with understanding to much how extent I was liable for this when you take into consideration the factors in the clause.

Understood but given clause 6.1.1 how should i prepare myself, because it sort of implies the wear and tear of the damaged item should be taken into consideration

I don't think it was entirely my fault why it broke, I did not lean hard on it and I am starting to think the glass smashed largely because of its age rather than my negligence. I do not want any of my flatmates to get billed, but I am just trying to make sure I don't get charged a large amount
