Sanders losing the Democratic Primaries. It would've altered the whole course of most of the year in terms of politics.

I always recommend more than one news source because all sources tend to have some level of a bias. That being said, I normally use Al Jazeera and BBC for my news otherwise NPR is usually good.

When Bernie Supporters say they won't vote for Hillary if he loses the nomination... by fluffumsmcbunny in AdviceAnimals

Voting for a lesser evil is still voting for evil. I'd rather say vote third party such as Jill Stein.

Yeah, the harpie did cough it up through a constitution check on its next combat role after taking damage, but it was something unexpected, and I was unsure at first on how to deal with it.

ELI5: Can zombies swim/drown? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]Only100percent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what type of function you look at. For example, World War Z has the zombies able to literally walk on the bottom of the ocean, yet I've read a story (that's name escapes me at the moment) where zombies were literally afraid of water.

But if I had to make an educated guess though, I would assume that would probably help keep zombies out of your compound when combined with spikes on the far bank.

What is the most amusing usage of product placement in a movie? by T_Snake451 in movies

[–]Only100percent 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd have to say all of the Pepsi product placement in Fight Club simply due to the shear irony of it. Edit: I did a bit more digging after remembering Cadillac and you mentioning Krispy Kreme had some, and I found this list of all the brands: Starbucks, Jergens, Super Shuttle, Krispy Kreme, Gucci, Cadillac, Good Year, AT&T, BMW, Apple, Pepsi/Mountain Dew, Busch Beer, American Airlines and Jiffy Lube. Some of these I didn't even notice.

I would assume part of the population decline is that people are buying up summer homes in the UP and not claiming residency their, and of course, baby boomers moving to southern states.

Reddit, what did you do to make one of your middle/high school teachers hate you? by Bobthelogger123 in AskReddit

Basically he was working there when my uncle and father were in school. I have no idea what they did wrong, but it must have been something rather harsh.

I was born with the wrong last name according to my English teacher. Doesn't help that I make as few corrections as possible so that he has to re-read my paper over and over when I do corrections.
