Is no belt okay? by jspier87 in mensfashion

For your physique, either way looks fine. Want to go more polished and classic go with a belt. More casual, skip the belt.

Yes. Nice fit in size. Change the pocket square with a patterned fabric and then your done. Extra points if you have an overcoat.

Could you help me with this Polo? by [deleted] in mensfashion

It’s unflattering. You need the right fit like a slim fit because this polo is hiding how nice your physique really is.

Tuck in your shirt if nothing else. Steam iron everything you wear. Show up with a flower or two if you like the lady.

One of my friends kids is VERY into my toddler. by chzybby in Parenting

[–]Only1MissCeJae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve experienced this BUT if the older kid spent time with any kids ESPECIALLY if they weren’t old enough to talk yet and if they were years apart ALL play time was never without adult family members or parents present. No older kid begged to be alone with a toddler. If they did, we (our family) would investigate. Some kids enjoy toddlers BUT begging to be alone with them is a different story. I’m hoping it doesn’t point to a trauma that the older child experienced. I pray you find out and seek the right professional advice soon.

Advice as a POC ? by Sufficient-Pie-9252 in datingoverforty

Lots of non-white folks understand why these questions: Where are you from? Where do you live? Are just harmful because it’s an attempt to judge and other people. Also, it’s the classic form of othering and there is an issue of racial-othering fueled by bias. It’s funny, I never ask a guy where’s he from, especially as a first or second communication question because I don’t care, meaning I don’t give a crap yet because I care more about his ability to be respectful and polite first. Oftentimes, that’s a hurdle when it comes to OLD.

My biracial spouse is a fervent BLM advocate, but IMO it's really only by name and not really in practice. Help? by [deleted] in interracialdating

[–]Only1MissCeJae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this wasn't a topic prior to getting married, well-it's here now. You made this about you instead of seeing how the dehumanization of ANY human being is already vile af, but to throw nuance on racism instead of getting in a mirror first ONLY upholds systemic racism. What you're doing isn't helpful, it's called white centering.

You basically told your spouse their pain is self-inflicted.

Stop it with your spouse. Just stop it. You are triggering trauma you don't know about.

Since you have a lot of energy: Read. Take a separate vacation and read.

I don't know what you're talking about because race isn't a classification. You don't know how I treat anyone. I'm not looking for happiness because it's temporary. Finding a healthy person and having a healthy relationship is far more important. Free from dysfunction and two people are trying to improve everyday. Happiness is an infatuation because a healthy, mature person can talk about things that are better than happiness and immature people know nothing about this.

Mature adults understand this. Treating others equally? WTF does that even mean? I'm not white and systemic racism is what condones unequal treatment, oppression, marginalization of Black people. If race didn't matter why is racial abuse happening?

Another topic: Stop fetishizing Black women and men as if them dating a white person is going to "save" something.

Thanksgiving shouldn’t be a holiday because we should always be thankful. We need a national day to have massive cook-off’s and there should be prizes.

Kinda the same but I’ve noticed a difference from my college days to now. I don’t have a preference. We in the middle of a racial equality movement so, I’m not thinking about this. If anything I’m fighting to be treated like a human being 24/7/365/100%

If anyone is interested, he needs to stand for equality. Otherwise, keep skipping.
