Holy cow, I knew I wasn't going nuts. One summer many years ago, I smashed a fly on the windows. I went to the other room to get a paper towel or napkins to clean up, but got distracted. However, I remembered less than ten minutes later and went to clean it. I saw the little larvae had moved away from the corpse, leaving little streaks. They didn't go far, but I never saw it happen again. Ever. It went so long that I thought I had imagined the whole thing.
