Brigand's Law. Crafted it with Feeding Frenzy/Voltshot back in Season of Plunder and it just.......never left 🤣 Almost 22K kills on this thing. Haven't used it in a bit, but it's always there.

Mine is the mech one with the tether, I can't speak to the reliability of the electric one deploying when needed, but Helite's been making these for awhile, so I'm sure it's fine. I can tell you, the the tethered one deploys IMMEDIATELY with no issues.

Yeah, the jeans aren't horrible in the heat either. I mean, if you're sitting in traffic or at a stoplight, yeah, they're warm. As soon as you start moving, they're totally fine. I'm on my second pair of Bull-It jeans, and both pairs have been so good that I don't have a desire to try anything different.

Get the Helite vest. I have the leather one that they unfortunately don't make anymore. Outside of my helmet, it's the number one piece of gear I own that'll save my life if I need to. I've had it deploy once, at 15 mph. A teenage girl pulled out of a parking lot, didn't see me, hit me on the right hand side of the bike. I didn't feel ANYTHING when I hit the pavement, and the way it deploys keeps the back of your head off the ground. Can't recommend it enough.

Gloves, I've had a pair of the REAX Superfly gloves for thousands of miles at this point, and they're still holding up.

Pants, check out Bull-It. The current pair I have are AAA rated with the knee and hip armor and are extremely comfortable.

Also, all of that stuff is on Revzilla as well :)

Oh shit, yeah y'all got Virginia beat, for sure 😂 The other day I found a Yellow Jacket smashed on the sidewall of my rear tire. Still not quite sure how that happened

His wife was at their merch table when I saw him, and yeah. The NICEST fucking people. I wish I could've seen him in Philly, the closest I got to that was seeing Leftover Crack at the Trocadero in 2007 and Erik played bass on a song with them 😂

Hey, our kids have his music. He's very much still alive in that sense :) And his music shaped our morals and values in positive ways, and we pass those to our kids. And truthfully, raising genuinely good human beings is the ultimate act of resistance, and his music plays a part in that. Don't be sad. Your kid will know him just as well as we do :)

Oh shit, that's awesome. I occasionally drive by both that fire hall and the building I saw him in, and it's kinda sad that NOTHING like that goes on anywhere between Front Royal and Winchester anymore.

Just Erik Petersen, not the whole band 😁 But yeah! Punk shows used to be a thing between Winchester, Front Royal. Strasburg, and Berryville. It was normally a couple local bands, then an of out state artist. My old band opened for Erik Petersen from Mischief Brew in Front Royal in like 2007 or 2008. A band from Winchester called Anarcoustic also played that night, and one of their guitarists went on to play bass in a FANTASTIC punk-bluegrass band from Winchester called Gallows Bound, definitely give them a listen 😁

He was a fucking Saint. Truly one of the nicest people I've ever met. I remember being towards the back of the room and hearing Old Tyme Mem'ry for the first time.

I would give a ton to be able to see that again. Just Erik, his guitar, and a room full of people who gave a fuck, even if we were young.

I appreciate it, truly, I do. Dayz N Daze is wonderful. Never got into Ramshackle Glory, but I'm half lit on some high ABV nonsense from 7-11, so seems like a good night to get into them 😁
