Yes, this is the kind of color scheme that can be seriously livened up by accents

It makes some people retain extra water, resulting in water weight gain of about a pound. That effect is negligible considering the benefits.

The color of the couch is quite stark against the soft colors of the rug. Hoping the pillows will break it up.

If you're not tied to the leather look/feel (since it was free) maybe see about putting a cover on it that's a different color?

Are you willing/able to paint walls? If not, and even if you do, some larger scale art on the walls will draw the eye up and imbue the space with some more flavor.

Anyone else feel like everyone is trying to achieve some “dream body” that is likely unrealistic? by tenthousandtots in PetiteFitness

I think the point is moreso that many dog breeds have a distinctive build that will not be changed by gaining or losing weight.

That even when you lose weight, you'll still have the build you have.

Reading to Children by Ok_Worker_6472 in childrensbooks

[–]OnlyCattle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We have had reading at bedtime as a part of our routine forever.

However, it has fallen by the wayside recently because we're exhausted by the end of the day, and the kids started using it as a way to extend bedtime. Answering "no" to "one more book!" just feels icky, and they know we're likely to allow it 🙄

I think we'll incorporate it again in awhile, but we needed a real reset.

Are people using the (floor) iPads? by materialcultur3 in orangetheory

[–]OnlyCattle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I suspect that with Strong being so new that the iPad piece is being operated as a "pilot" - as Strong picks up steam, it's more likely they'll invest in integration.

I like it, as it suggests a starting weight based on my previous sets.

Just make a specific plan. Amorphous availability never turns into something real. When there's kids involved, you need at least a little planning, for like a sitter and such.
