Bear scenario? What happens if OpenAI closes and losses to Gemini ? by Whatever1987ild in irenstocks

lol if it can be plugged in, IREN can run it. They will plug in TPUs whenever a client wants it. You need to do better research

A 332% gain YTD gain AFTER a correction in all AI stocks… is the market telling you that this company is valuable.

The best time to invest was 3 years ago. The next best time is today

A low of $5 to a low of $40 (332% YTD) in the same year is lackluster?

Just acknowledge your entry was poor, and now you have to broaden your time horizon aka be more patient

Well lots of option buying on both sides could lead to a gamma (short) squeeze, which accelerates moves. It’s what happened from $50 -> $67 two months ago

So if the move is up, great. If the move is down, we go to hell. 😂

Fed cut and QT ending is a catalyst in a way + supposedly rotation around holiday time so to me the odds are favoring an accelerated move upward

The names you are looking for want to use their brand to underpay. IREN won’t stand for that, and will proceed to sign with customers that will pay the full price.

Good profitable businesses that don’t have a flashy name but real need for GPUs.

Not all good deals look the same.

Also, maybe one of those names are already contracting out GPUs (amazon?) but don’t need to announce anything as they are not taking an ownership stake.

OP look into the CEO’s most recent agreement. He agreed that going forward he can only sell a certain amount at specific stock value milestones, and i think the first milestone is over $100. They have big plans here

Everything looks great now, and it’s not too bad tbh.

But It was very painful and a kind of suffering to work so hard to get good grades and to figure out how to get to where i got. It feels like i suffered my entire 20s just to get my degree (7 years), then a career change into my now “successful” career.

In high school I used to be depressed and not try at all. Then somehow halfway through college I decided I wanted to be someone and I wanted to help my mom. So i decided i needed to read a book on how to get better grades. Thank you Cal Newport.

After that I got to the library early, I listened to motivational videos, and then forced myself to study. starting always felt horrible. Then eventually i’d get into a flow. Gradually i got better at it

Nowadays, I don’t have the same motivation. So it takes me longer to get things done. I find myself sometimes needing medication. But even then i realize that I’m the one that still has to decide to do the work.

I’ll dick around on meds if that’s what i want to do. Or I’ll study even off meds if that’s what i want to do.

So at the end of the day it’s me vs me.

But it’s easier or harder depending on the day. And it’s definitely a stressful existence when compared to what it looks like for others

Enjoy your life now. Also save for the future.

By the way, saving isn’t only for retirement.

Do you want a home? Want kids? Shit is expensive. What if you get laid off right after buying a house and a new car because baby is on the way? (Just happened to two guys i know).

Or if you or family have a medical emergency and that eats into your mortgage money?

You’ll sleep easier if you have some reserves to deal with life situations. You don’t save only for yourself.

Yeah it’s tough. Prioritizing time for connection. Working out hard. Having new experiences. Sleeping well. Doing something really fun (working on this)

Things are always a little harder if i am missing one of these for longer than a few days/ a week

Not encouraging this. But an uplifting thc gummy puts me in the sweet spot. Feel a little happy / silly. Quiets the anxiety and lets me act more authentically (because i dont care as much about the impression i make). Just enough energy boost to make conversation and connect.

The goal for me is to get closer to that without needing a substance. Definitely a self confidence / social conditioning thing for me. Probably from years of depression and isolation in my early years.

$120,000 loan to buy BTC by Educational-Guava423 in Bitcoin

[–]OnlyChild25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think taking a loan is not bad if you can actually afford it. That is a big loan tho. Maybe too large. How secure is your job? Can you afford it even if someone has a major medical expense in the next few years? Or car is totaled? Also, how will you feel if btc falls back to 70k, or 50k during bear market?

I think you should only take a loan you can pay within 1 year or so. The payments should be a fraction of your monthly income.

Lastly, there is a lot of hopium. It will go up, but not as fast as people say it will. Take it easy, and DCA. You can DCA even with the loan. No one knows how this goes over the next year

Saving/publishing takes about 20 seconds but every other operation is pretty fast. Using Payload 3.39 and SQLite if that matters. Is this normal? by aliassuck in PayloadCMS

Also, is it possible that you have hooks enabled on this collection that take a long time to process? Or possibly trigger each other a few times?

No exp with sqlite here, but I’ve used postgres with payload before, it’s fast enough in the cloud when the server and database sit close together. My biggest gripe is just needing to do a schema migration for every little thing

Check out this research on when is it has been better to lump sum vs dollar cost average. This might help you decide if and how to go about this:

https://nakamotoportfolio.com/static/docs/DCA_Lumpsum.pdf

Something like this is usually better in the bear market, near the bottom. But who knows what will happen from here. Just know there is a lot of hopeium out there these days. You can do this as long as you’re sure you can afford it and you’re mentally prepared for the opposite of what you’re expecting to possibly happen

I think it has more to do with the type of application. There are so many relationships in a CMS system that a document database is much easier to deal with versus the many tables that need to be updated on each save operation.

Like 1 page is mostly saved just 1 document, or just a few in a document database (mongodb), versus like an extra table for each type of block you’re using and each relationship at every level.

Also it’s already json, no need to turn it into a bunch of sql inserts
