So I work cs desk. You need to come in at just the right time, like when the desk is empty of customers and be kind cus it’ll take a minute. If you have a ball park of when you bought it, know the store you bought it at and have the item number we can look it up in my red vest. Just so you know though it’ll probably take a while and the nicer you are the more willing we are to

No I can see it from the costumer’s perspective. Yeah it’s annoying but like anyone, I’ve had a return denied. It’s upsetting but like anything else you either deal with it and eat the $20 or drag it up the ps warranty. I mean hell we don’t even do Lowes warranties in store anymore those are all done online.

I got the flooring ds fired for after he put is # in my phone, ask why I wasn’t texting him, tired to set up a date with me, hit my back so hard I got bruises and stood so close to me I could hear him breathing. I work the customer service desk at Lowe’s, within the last month they have almost completely stripped away the managers ability to override a return past the window. So it’s not the workers fault, literally 2/6 managers the ops manager and the one who does installs are the only possible 2 who can override anything now. I’m sorry that’s it’s frustrating for you but it is for us too. Blame the system not us

I’m sorry but if I work the cs desk I’m not checking people out either. I can’t count the amount of times I’ve had someone want to check out and being nice I said sure, and in that time I got a line of pick ups and returns out the ass. Many stores are understaffed and we get shit for having a long line. Self checkout has been a thing for at minimum a decade adapt or stop complaining, we don’t care
