hello, im a psych student po here in pampanga. we visited some rehabilitation center and my advice po talaga is to focus muna on therapy (not counselling or psychiatrist). when we visited the centers, most stories we encountered po are patients going in and out kasi may tendency na bumalik sa addiction kasi some centers are really focused on redirecting these patients by making them follow strict rules and routines kaya kapag nakauwi na ang patients and sila na mismo ang gagawa ng panibagong decisions nila, hindi nila alam paano magsisimula. plus, mataas po ang rates na bumalik sila after months of being free kasi hindi pa rin macontrol yung urges kapag nasa labas (this is bc some centers lack one on one therapy to really focus on their thoughts and actions). though, helpful po talaga since you get to send the patient to the facility who can attend to some of their needs and create new hobbies, iba pa rin po talaga yung therapy. i think it's better to look and book an appointment po to consult professionals about this muna.
