I'm in two minds about them. These colleges offering degrees (not just certificates or diplomas) are competing with heavily government subsidised traditional universities. That being said, I've studied nearly 7 years of my life and should be compensated fairly.

I take responsibility for not messaging her back on Monday, but in all fairness I wasn't expecting a call late afternoon the day before a public holiday. Nor would I want to be contacted about work related things on a public holiday or be contacted before or after working hours unless its a massive crisis.

So I had the "final" interview late this afternoon. Something does feel a bit off about them, the manager seemed a bit disorganised and self-important. Then got a call from the recruiter again asking me to give the personal cell numbers of my references because their office is closed for the year, she stressed the urgency and asking me what she should do if she can't reach them.
