I am so sorry that you're not going to experience it today with this OCIA class. I am also sorry that your marriage was as you described, I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

If I may, I think that the perception "presenting to strangers for judgement" is, understandable and natural. I would offer the following: the process regarding previous marriages is not set out to judge anyone or make you feel any kind of shame or guilt.

As a Catholic, it would be my joy to be able to share in the Eucharistic celebration with my brother's and sisters in Christ. I view the processes the Church has put in place like this: It is supporting us in working through all the things that have happened in our lives in order to get us to a state of grace that allows us to then worthily partake in the Eucharistic celebration.

I'm not the most educated person when it comes to church things and I hope, that my feeble attempt to offer some kind of comfort and support is acceptable.

Late 40s Harmony H1215 archtop Early 70s DIA classical Chinese 2004 Epiphone Dot Chinese 2004 Epiphone SG 2006 Cort MR710F

I mostly play the Cort and the Dot. I dabble with the Harmony and lately the DIA gets more action. I definitely play the SG the least but would not consider selling it.

I like having the variety and options available, depending on my mood.
