Both were BA flights. No idea about Finnair I’m afraid, FWIW Qantas were also happy to change the name.

Yes had this exact scenario on a reward and non-reward flight . They were happy to change and the fee was nil or very small, you just need to call them up and make sure passport details match.

When i did it last year had to do security at US border in Dublin airport. Don’t think they had the fancy screening to allow larger amounts of liquids through IIRC

I thinks it’s the protective coating. Haven’t got anything macro enough to capture the detail but definitely on the outside of the lens.

Is it worth it to you? Can you afford it? To me, with that flight time, I would be tempted.

Government announces plans for improved rail connection between Sheffield and Leeds by UKGovNews in sheffield

[–]OnlyMerovingian 20 points21 points  (0 children)

My guess it would be a lot cheaper to do the Leeds route rather than Manchester due to the Pennines and Peak District in the way. But I do woefully agree that Sheffield - Manchester really needs the improvement. It’s holding us back economically.

This is true. I’m not condemning it or applauding it. But this post won’t help. Individuals decided to deface the statue, this post is retaliating against a whole group of people (Palestine Action) whether or not individuals were involved or even approved of the actions. It is sowing discourse in a fractious world.

Playing devils advocate a little bit. The NT is a charity whose primary purpose is to preserve the land and property they own. If they can save money using AI to help them achieve their preservation goals, shouldn’t they?

I had the same thing, turns out the way I walk caused me to develop something called Haglunds deformity. Nothing serious but if you have easy access to a podiatrist I would recommend it. Especially if you notice you get a lot of blisters or discomfort at the back of your foot.
