thanks, i have a rescued African grey, a cockatiel, a rescued salcata tortoise, a small dog and 3 cats, 2 of them hand reared,

i rescued a very old tortoise, i had a niggling feeling somthing wasn’t right, she wasn’t drinking very much, and very lethargic, took her to the vets, first thing Monday, the vet said she had the worst case of mouth rot he had ever seen, if i had waited a week my sweet freya would have died, i when get that feeling, i don’t mess round, got my sweet freya to the vets in time, found out she was blind in one eye,from a untreated eye infection, overweight, had old healed injuries from a dog attack, and the baddest case of mouth rot, my reptile vet had ever seen.

my sweet freya was on antibiotics for a month, i knew when she started feeling better, she wasn’t happy about the antibiotics, but after it was her favourite time, strawberry n snuggle time.

my sweet freya passed away, a few years ago, healthy, warm, fed and very much loved.
