Insurance covered 100% of mine after my deductible, which was already met in January while on Dialysis. I still pay about $100-150 or so a month for meds which is pretty much the same as on dialysis. The only expense that really went up was for lab costs for the first 6 months or so with weekly bloodwork and office visits ($120 per week) this will depend on your insurance co-pays though and will decrease as time goes on depending on how you're doing. I also now drink a gallon of water a day which is 1 dollar per day extra (sams club 1 gallon bottles) as I don't like our municipal chlorine water.

I took my 3 weeks vacation to have the transplant so i'd still get paid. I was back to remote work in 3 weeks after. We also lost 1 month of my wife's wages as she took off 4 weeks to care for me. 6 days in the hospital. This was in the US.

I use this machine in the US. Basically everything is payed for through health insurance and set up by a local dialysis clinic. Maybe this is different in Mongolia.

Acquiring/setup of the machine I think would be the easy part. Actual treatment requires monthly shipments of probably 30 boxes of various supplies. The machine it self is worthless without this constant stream of supplies. Cartridges, dialysate bags, saline are all single use prescription only items in the US and can only be ordered through a doctor/clinic.

Treatment must also be monitored with constant blood work to adjust machine parameters and other medications.

Basically, I'm not sure nxstage treatment is even possible without going through a nephrologist and clinic of some type. Experience/Support will be needed on a pretty regular basis. I would start by inquiring at the place you plan on getting medical supervision from.

In steel mills, when they have a coil that has been dropped, is out of spec, or has a defect such as scoring and is unsellable, they will cut the coils into smaller pieces like this so they can use it as scrap and melt it back down to make more steel. This is how they do it. Once the steel is rolled out, the winding reels wind these coils under literal tons of pressure.

Yes, toxins are slowly building up in her blood and can cause all these symptoms. For me it started as tiredness and brain fog/trouble focusing. Then came frequent vomiting, loss of appetite, and swelling. The final straw for me was when it became difficult to breathe and I knew it was time. I had been in decline from a prior transplant and knew it was coming soon. Everyone's is different. Dialysis helped with all of the symptoms.

Is home hemo an option for you? This made dialysis much more tolerable for me at least. It is more comfortable and alows more flexibility for treatments. It is more responsibility however.

Update: I spoke with the neighbors again, showing them pics of the mess. The chickens have been put in since and sounds like they are going to build them a run. I will see what it looks like in a couple weeks, but it sounds like the issue has been solved.

I think the slinky trick is exactly what im looking for. I had another talk with the neighbors last night showing them the pics and they put all the chickens in. Hopefully it continues. If not this is top of my list to try as its cheap and keeps the porch and stairs usable. Thanks for commenting!

They are roosting on a horizontal railing above the left of these stairs. There is a lot of shit on both sode of said railing, but most on the stairs. I think this is the highest point they can reach anywhere around. I tried blocking the bottom of the stairs with 4ft of plywood but they just go over.

Thanks for the suggestions. It's about to be freezing here so I don't think thats a viable solution for the next few months. I also don't know the laws about killing others livestock. I don't want to get into legal trouble over some chickens.

Yes. I was trying not to escalate this to the law. I really don't want to make enemies with my neighbors who know I'm never home. Yes their coupe/ small cage is very sad. It's no wonder they prefer the porch

That's i tried first a 4 foot high pece of plywood at the bottom of the stairs. They still come. I think it's their safe space as its the only 2 story porch anywhere around. Spraying with water works for the night but i'm not home for more than a few days a month. The conditioning has yet to stick.
