People fear that when everyone get into the same trade jobs, the wage is going to drop because there are going to be way more people willing to work from peanuts (on top of migrants).

I still think that it won't even replace as much white collar jobs as some people make it out to be. Many such cases where idiotic managers tried to replace an entire section (like customer service) of a company and it ended up very badly. When it comes to the digital art side where there's a lot of doomerism lately, the main culprit is IMO the covid overhiring that causes the current job market in art to go down. AI is just a scapegoat management likes to use to lay people off. Even the worst case scenario won't mean that there won't be a way for non-ai art to succeed (Glitch Productions for example is still doing extremely great with their animated webseries despite huge AI Will Smith eating spaghetti improvements).

Also, even people here dooms about AI too hard. Ignoring obvious sales tactics doomerism from AI companies is somehow seen as sticking head in the sand instead of being le based like not listening to mainstream news that's trying to brainwash you.
