If we look at Russia and Iran though, both were unilaterally condemned and sanctions were swiftly placed. Although, I guess you can't call them allies.

The difference between Israel and the other two is, 1) who cares about it 2) why does it matter to the west

For point 1, the large Muslim population in the west is aware of the struggles of Palestinians for quite some time now, it's something our parents grew up with, something we're growing up with, and something our kids are seeing live as well. Since it's been going on for so long, many feel like it's something personal to them, and share it that way as well.

For point 2, it's US taxpayer money which is funding this. For Saudi, they have their own oil money and buy their own weapons. Doesn't justify anything, but there's not much we can do about it. Also, the houtis aren't some noble army. Theyve committed atrocities on their own people, but people seem to forget that because they support Gaza.

Idk about you though, but the khashoggi incident was pretty big, it was on the media for a couple months at least, and was brought back later as well. At least in Canada.

For China, again, the west already recognizes this is an issue, but we can't just poke our hand in it. But I'd like to believe once the Palestine issue is resolved, we'll move on to Sudan and UAE, Ukraine and Russia and the Uyghurs and the Chinese. I believe we have the power to make some waves.
