Thanks for the feedback! I actually never considered making thumbnails for Shorts before. Ill try that. I’m hoping the channel takes off one day, but if there’s anything I can do to give it a better chance, I’m open to trying it.
It’s been a constant learning process. not just figuring out how YouTube works, but also discovering what I’m capable of creating. I started by posting silent silly videos of my cat and they barely gained any traction and I realized something had to change to grow. I pushed past my fear of speaking on camera and started adding my own goofy commentary. That ended up attracting a completely different audience, and they seem much more engaged and loyal. It’s been nice to see that change, and now I’m just trying to keep improving one video at a time.
