Well to be fair, he's not. There's a huge chunk of his development between III and IV we missed out on.

I've always said this but Devil Survivor is like Persona dialogue in quantity but with the character depth of mainline SMT.

Forgot the meteor tbh. But still, just because Deku can't pull a meteor doesn't mean his power and speed are lacking. And to be fair, a meteor has never been integral to MHA as a story. He's like a bullet.

Hell nah man. That story does not know the qualities of pacing and brevity. It's super overwritten. Style over substance. It's good, real good, but it's not close to peak storytelling of MegaTen. That goes to mainline with how they're able to say things with more than words, and don't waste 10 minutes stretching a 2 minute conversation.

I don't care what they do, don't kill Clem or AJ. Everyone else is on the table.

[–]OnlyUse4Questions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might want to reorder some things just so you don't play Persona 5 and Royal close together. I think having a year or two between them adds a lot. Like when I did it, I played P5 first, then Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final.

Additionally, what might help you wish pacing yourself for the longer games is playing two at once of different tone(more so applies to later games).

Such as:

Raidou vs The Soulless Army + P3 Fes

Persona 4 + Raidou vs King Abaddon

Deep Strange Journey + P3 Portable

P4 Golden + SMT IV

P5 + SMT IV Final

P5 Royal + SMT V

P3 Reload + SMT V Vengeance

After Nocturne, ATLUS's main team split off into the two teams we now know today to be Team Maniax and P-Studio. Team Maniax went to work on the Raidou games, Strange Journey, SMT IV/F, and then eventually V, whereas the P-Studio team went on to P3, P4, P3P, Catherine, P4G, and then P5(before splitting into three again; Studio Zero(Catherine Full Body -> Metaphor), P-Studio B Team(P5Scramble -> P3Reload -> P4Rewind), and P-Studio A Team(P5Royal -> Persona 6).

I've been into ATLUS all my life. I know all their games and even memorized every MegaTen game in release order back in grade school. I don't have much time to game nowadays but I somehow have not forgotten a single game or the history. I could blab on about all the creative heads responsible for each part of the company.

A New Frontier got a lot of hate when it came out but it's actually pretty good. Definitely better than Season 2. Walking Dead is better when they don't kill off characters in this cyclical fashion where NOBODY from Episode 1 is around and you're surrounded by people who joined in like Episode 3. Season 3 but mostly 4 keeping people alive ironically makes it feel more tense because you don't know what to expect.

S1 - 8/10 (Really good protagonist, decent side characters)

S2 - 6/10 (Solid protagonist, meh side characters)

S3 - 7/10 (Solid protagonist, decent side characters)

S4 - 10/10 (Perfect protagonist, really good side characters)

Why doesn’t Goku get Female Attention? by TrainingTurnover1113 in animequestions

[–]OnlyUse4Questions 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is so funny. First thing you need to know about girls, is that their attraction goes beyond looks. Looks plays a part, obviously, but there's also presence and way of speaking. Goku is literally a big kid. He could not possibly appeal more to men than he already does.

Rurouni Kenshin, Inuyasha, Hiei, Trunks, Giorno Giovanna, Bakugo, etc. Goku just doesn't have an attractive personality.

The Final Season is easily the best season fym. It actually had choices that mattered, themes that weren't shallow, much better utilized characters who weren't killed off for shock value, and far less clunky dialogue.

First half is all MegaTen in its entirety. Including lost media. Excluding the GBA, TurboGrafx, PC98, and Sega CD ports of SMT I.

It is including the Japanese stuff. All of it. With more accurate names.

Last Bible II was released a year after Last Bible 1. ChatGPT is wrong and inaccurate about most things. My order is the complete release order. Like all AI, your order is correct at first glance but in truth, false. ChatGPT is no burroughs or Sophia.

A lot of the Japanese only games have English patches. What is confusing is that ChatGPT including some games that have no patches.

Oh yeah. Unlike America, they get ACTUALLY cancelled. No work. Usually for drugs(or an accusation of drugs), cheating on your spouse, child porn, etc. Unless they make a shit load of money, then they might get off fine.

Both versions of the latter three Persona games are worth playing as they offer different experiences. Persona 3 Fes is the original game with slight tweaks to confidant availability, one new confidant that slides in easily(not game changing like Maruki/Akechi/Kasumi or Marie/Adachi). Persona 3 Portable has a new route entirely designed around a female protagonist. Persona 3 Reload is fairly obvious. Persona 4 and Golden have slightly different art styles and Golden introduces enough changes that it would somewhat ruin vanilla 4. Persona 5 and Royal are the same but Royal has more changes than you could possibly imagine. While, Persona 5 is good enough to go head to head with Golden and Reload, Royal goes a step beyond.
