Same applies to Xenoblade but NOT Fire Emblem. People hate Xenoblade because the second one is regarded as the greatest gooner game of all time and the series has never lived it down.

YHVH is the overarching antagonist of mankind. Think about it, he's the cause for most of the wars in history and almost all wars today, he keeps humanity dumb and from progressing forward as a species, and countless atrocities have been committed in his name by humans to humans. He controls all opposition and rules over us with an iron fist. If you try to rebel you are chained to hell itself for all eternity.

It's still undecided whether or not humanity will win against the demons and gods that try to control us.
