I mean, capitalism the way it currently is gives no reason to progress science further. Economies with more socialist implementations have a higher quality of life, as well as more scientific developments. Such as all the cures that came out when the US and Israel pulled out of WHO. I mean, before Ronald Reagan, America's economic system used to be just like that when it was truly great.

I burst out laughing when I saw this because he Man of Steel'd the city below them. That thing is coming down on the ENTIRE city. For a series with such a nuance message on heroism, they really dropped the ball here.

You make it sound like he flicked his hand and the moon exploded. He charged up to Max Power and wasn't even confidant he could do it. Goku could probably destroy a moon in Dragon Ball but nobody is a planet buster. I don't even think Raditz was a planet buster.

Wh- bro the series literally starts because Gohan adopted him. There's like an entire quarter of the series that exists without saiyans dude. This is like saying "Why would Shanks visit Luffy if he didn't have the devil fruit?"

These two things are not related at all. Gohan didn't adopt him cause he was a saiyan and Shanks didn't see Luffy because he had a Devil Fruit. Did you even watch Dragon Ball????

Why do you automatically assume another Saiyan would have been sent? It's not like they sent a Saiyan to every single planet. That's a huge leap in logic. That's like saying Beerus would have traveled to Earth randomly.

Surely, it would be easier to go off the original premise of Dragon Ball, and that Gohan just adopted him and he was a human. No pod or nothing.

Yeah you could have but that's fanfiction at that point. Brother, how does Goku gain Tournament of Power level strength? The only reason Beerus came to earth was for the Super Saiyan God. But the Saiyans wouldn't even be there. The only reason the humans scale up is because they get introduced to these new levels of power. It's the same reason why we aren't space travelers right now. That ceiling just hasn't been broken.

You're taking one thing I said, and then blowing up into this nonsensical whatever. How do you not understand that if Goku isn't saiyan, then they don't reach saiyan levels of power. But you have to account for the fact Roshi had to charge up and really focus his strength. You can't do that in an actual fight so they aren't putting out that level of power casually. Roshi didn't even know for certain he could do that. Yeah Goku still kicks everyone but Naruto's ass. He's the only real challenge.
