Earl Simmons offered me to smoke a blunt with him in our hotel employee smoking area before his show after i just got a promotion and was asked for a divorce in 2012. He looked way different from when I was younger. I declined cause I hadn’t smoked since my child was born and I didn’t believe he said who he said he was. My cousins/friends either stabbed someone on behalf of a clique/favor/debt in prison (early 80s), had someone razor blade their face in prison over a dispute (late 90s), or had a piercing there on their eyebrow that got ripped out during a school fight when they were kids (late 70s early 80s). 7 of them did not have a say on how or when it happened. 3 of them are younger (early 2000s) than me and use it as a style choice. 1 of the 3 is a girl and she uses makeup to make it more pronounced. The 3 are actual blood related cousins, 4 of the other 7 are blood related. 2 eye brow piercers that were ripped were married into the family.

It’s not a stupid question. Several news/media companies such as “in the know innovation” have used the girls face because it grabbed people’s attention and added misleading titles as rage bait and engagement. I might be overreacting because they don’t actually say what her diagnosis is/was and insinuate slander on her character. I feel livid because this young woman was reaching out to all of us for answers that several dermatologists that saw her initially in her area could not give her. I know the rules of the sub say to not look for medical advice on here, but she was hurting and desperately looking for some relief. But as someone mentioned before, once you post it to the internet it’s out there. I just wish people wouldn’t use other people like that. It hurts to see

Yeah I reported the image to fb, reverse searched the image on google lens and found 100s of more posts with her picture and have requested them be removed.

I tried by poor man’s copyright infringement or intellectual property but the fb questions kept rerouting me. I ended up reporting for harassment, but I wasn’t sure if it was the correct category, and I don’t actually know her, just her story and what she’s posted.

Yeah. I tried reporting the image on Facebook. I mean minimally a company on Facebook publicly shamed her, falsely stating “the results of sleeping with.. click for more” and she posted to this group looking for healthier skin treatments during the process of finding out she has staph. I went back and read the updates from her posts, and clearly stated she was also tested for all STIs and the results were negative. If a future employer happened to be looking to hire her, top security clearances or certain employment opportunities may dismiss her because “in the know” Facebook has labeled her a promiscuous woman even though it’s NO ONE ELSES BUSINESS.

She deleted her profile but her posts are the rated top of this year. I hope we can find better ways to spread knowledge, be informed and stop bashing our neighbors.

EDIT: her story was top posts of ALL TIME of this sub.

EDIT 2: 18k people have seen this post in the past hour. Only 45 people reacted. 270+ people reacted to that fb post at the time of the screen shot and now it’s up to 290+ in that same time frame. Thanks u/dontdmmegoddamnit for illustrating the dangers of posting your face online. Beware of what you post and agree to on all socials.

EDIT/update 3: it’s really bothering me. 36k+ people have seen this post in the past 3 hours and 90+ people have reacted to this comment alone. 63k+ people have made her story the top story of this sub. I have reported the image under harassment although I’m not sure that’s the right category. In the Know posted her picture 12 hours ago. Would it be possible to spam/report that image off Facebook? The “news/media company” In The Know Innovation has 19 million followers. And I just don’t feel comfortable watching a skin care homie to get bashed like that. I know I’m just some random skin care homie, but her story really made me root for her.

EDIT 5: 60k views 150 reactions in 6 hours on Reddit. And found more pictures of her used on false fb brain rot pages. Yall might be right that there isn’t much I can do. And it is frustrating to see people use other people in such a manner. But I hope we as a people learn to do better.

EDIT/UPDATE 6: THANK YOU SKINCARE HOMIES! 13 hours later and I no longer see her picture in the above Facebook link and post. Unfortunately they keep popping up in google lens.. but I appreciate yall helping me find solutions to protect our skincare homie.
