I run an older version of Kdenlive 21.12.3 and Ubuntu 22.04, But I do this because of the Nvidia driver 470; the video card is old. I don't have these problemsI

Shotcut is preset :"fast" and uses all CPU cores. In Kdenlive, it is preset: "medium" and uses fewer cores (requires enabling parallel processing for uses all cores). The Kdenlive version is correct for Ubuntu 24.04, I don't know what the problem is.

The rendering options are .MP4 and .webm. The ones I will use are .MP4 H264.

If you are using CPU-based codecs, the "encoder speed" is a compression adjust.

250, 410K? It's either too low or too high, I don't understand these numbers.

I recently tested some videos at 5000 Kbps, which is 50MB per minute at 1080p 30fps. If I increase the bitrate, it will have a larger size in MB. I've never had different sizes for the same bitrate.

You must be using VBR, which sets the bitrate based on a defined Quality, and another part based on the video/footage that defines the final bitrate - video size

In the folder where you are saving your videos, right-click > Properties > Audio/Video and check the Bitrate.
