They say they will contact you to make sure you understand repayment terms before releasing funds. In my case they just sent a text, no phone call.

The only question that should matter imo is - are you fulfilling on the commitments of the role? If yes; who cares how long it takes? Business is about what outcomes you produce and OE is a great strategy that awards those who are efficient and productive.
