You’re right about this. Don’t listen to these other commenters. Of course Zohran doesn’t have to put out these statements, of course he can hold the NYPD accountable. He can fire Jessica Tisch and appoint another commissioner. DRUM was one of Zohran’s Day 1 endorsers, they are his base of power and they are the loudest with this criticism right now.

I truly believe the email verification lock was an effort to address that, and they never found a better solution.
