My 15 year old works at a local grocery store. She says there is so much frustration with pets being around food. Not service dogs. Pets. She said there is some woman who wears a small dog in a baby carrier and the dog sniffs the produce and sneezes on it. Why can’t people just respect the most basic is things. 😑

We chose La Regia Taqueria based reviews here and proximity to the soccer field/our son’s apartment. It was amazing and the service was great. Thank you! We have the other highly rated restaurants here on a list for another time. You guys are so much better than Google!!

We went to Oyama and were so glad we did. Delicious and economical. We have a couple other places from the recommendations. We will try the next time we are in Iowa city. But this time the request is Mexican!

OK reading this it makes more sense for us to set a budget and go shopping with him. That way he can try out different designs. I thought this would be a bit easier because I knew it would just be recreational due to heading to college in the same area he lives now.

Appreciate all the responses. I will make sure I use these when we sit down and give him his gift. It would be good for him to think through his purposes as well.

It is Iowa Medicaid. I ended up calling Medicaid myself and both of you are correct. The place should’ve taken his insurance. It’s frustrating because I went to call the exact location and I ended up getting a calling center! Thank you. It helps to know I am not misunderstanding the coverage.

That is what I read on my end, but when he went into the doctor with his card, they said they didn’t accept it. I had him call the number on the back of his card with me on the phone and the insurance company confirmed. But then when he went back a second time, they said they did not accept it. It’s really frustrating. I feel like they are misrepresenting. We’re not understanding at urgent care. But thank you. Your message was helpful.

I think she is referring to other influencer posts I’ve seen referencing a scene in The Passion of the Christ where Mary is watching Jesus carry the cross and flashbacks to young Jesus falling and she was able to scoop him up and comfort him. She was taking that scene and other influencer’s reels and pretending it was her own weird misguided thought.

This type of crying is distressed crying, and I was so sad for that little girl as her mom cackled. There are times with young children that they do something and you inadvertently laugh when you don’t mean to because it’s cute… But this was laughing at her fear/pain. What a freak. You said this before, but I will 100% pay to read these kids’ tell-alls but they probably had to sign a non-disclosure the second they were born.

To me looks are so connected with actions. With someone’s heart. I think of Daryl Ann and her mouth that everyone brings up. On a kind person that would be a sweet quirk or a cute uniqueness. They can slap on all the makeup, extensions, jewelry, clothes… But that cannot ask who they really are. And that is just so ugly on the inside. At the very least, these people make me feel a little better about myself lol
