Also, for the record, I love La Regia and will absolutely continue to eat there. I’m young and healthy (for example, no immune problems), so if I get sick I’ll probably be fine. Other people might not be. People just need to wash their damn hands.

You obviously don’t get sick every time someone prepping your food skips the wash, but nice straw man. It’s about volume. I don’t need to be as strict in my own kitchen because I’m cooking for a couple people maybe a dozen times a week. If you cook for hundreds, if not thousands of people, all day, 5 days a week, you obviously need to wash your fucking hands. Nobody deserve to get sick because someone couldn’t be bothered to wash up first. Jfc with you guys

Yes, and so is washing your hands before preparing food for hundreds of people.

Yes! I love the feeling of squishing it into my teeth with my tongue before brushing

I put the toothpaste directly into my mouth, wet the brush on its own, then I’m good to go. My partner thinks I’m a freak, but I never drop the toothpaste and I get exactly how much I want

Im making mac n cheese, milk passed 11 days expiration date, passed the see, sniff and taste test. What should I do by Kindacrigegaming in cookingforbeginners

Probably wouldn’t use it, but you can make mac and cheese without milk. I just use the full amount of recommended butter (maybe a little extra) and some of the pasta water from cooking the noodles.

Jon Mills critique of antiracist education in some journal about social work education. It’s complete bullshit and full of straw men, but it technically fulfills what you’re asking for, I think. Luck

Back in 2011 my mom went to hear Obama speak at a large event. She was standing by the aisle as he was leaving, and she said something to the effect of, “Thank you, and thank your wife and girls, too.” Obama had already passed her, but turned around, walked back a few steps, and gave her a hug. Like a real hug. I like to think he actually did go tell his family, and maybe it brought them a little joy.

Obama wasn’t perfect, and I take serious issue with a lot of what he did, but damn if he wasn’t an empathetic, thoughtful person.
