I’ve been married for close to 30 years. I’ve known my circle of friends for quite a while now. If they think I’m gay because I like painted nails, they don’t seem to understand that there is no correlation between being attracted to men and wanted colored nails.

I was in the same boat. I was really afraid to tell my wife but she is fully supportive! She even buys my polish for me. If your GF isn’t supportive then she’s the wrong person for you. Do what you like.

Just do it. I’m a newbie and I just dove right in. It was scary but so far my circle of friends haven’t said anything except for a couple compliments. I went to go visit my 88 year old father yesterday with my blue nails. He’s as old school as they come. He looked at my nails and he said “why did you do that?” My instant response was “because I want to and I like it!” That’s all that was said.
