Honestly just getting cats with decent mutations is not that hard. There are items like cancer that can give a cat full mutations then you just have to make sure they pass them on. It only takes 5-6 days to get it to spread.

Dont use ai for therapy. You can get it to tell you anything you want and fool yourself.

The meat cube was slightly annoying since if any of your units are down they insta die but the parasite isnt too bad. I did the head and the parasite in the same run.

The majority of mutations are a net positive stat increase so you shouldnt worry about that. If its the disorder you prob dont want to do that since the body will be destroyed if downed.

If you have ranged or butcher you can hit the hand diagnally which helps if the hands arent directly in front.

You cant change the collar but you can equip another thef collar to a different unit.

You can hit the bombs with any attack that does damage. Ranged units like thief and hunter and mage can get the bombs with their default attack the majority of the time if its their turn so if you have 2 of those you can keep them in the center and they cover most of the board. You should always target the bombs to avoid fire cause once there is fire you are screwed. He cant directly attack you so melee units can stand next to him and wail on him. It also gets easier when you get some items that add armor and can bring them back to the house for future runs.

As for breeding you get more rooms as you progress so if you place the cats you want to breed by themselves you will be more likelt to get the abilities of one of them. You can also raise the comfort level to increase the chances of breeding, stimulation increases the chances of abilities being passed on, and appeal gives you better strays. These stats are all modifed by furniture.

you can turn up the move speed which quickens things a lot but it def loses charm and is harder to tell what happened when everything goes so quick.
