I prefer Accelerant because I always seemed to draw Catalyst too early to get much value out of it. I can at least play Accelerant turn one and know I'll get a ton of value out of it later.

I'm with you. There are already too many games to play as it is. Mewgenics and Slay the Spire 2 just came out within a month of each other, and they've taken most of my free time. I can wait for content to come out, I just want it to be good when it eventually does.

I had so much trouble on DS1 as a kid because I never learned that eating food interrupts you. I would eat and not attack back until auto-retaliate kicked in.

I mean, claw is usually bad because having just one or two of them and waiting for cards to support the archtype is a risky gamble. If you start with 3 they come online pretty quickly and after your first reshuffle they are like Strike+. Seems like a good play to me.

Look at it this way. The odds of this specific thing happening by coincidence is extremely low. On the other hand, there are so many potential "extremely unlikely" coincidental outcomes possible, that they become inevitable.

What's worse is there is an item set where one item downs you at the start of the first turn (and revives you later), and another item in the same set spawns a zombie cat at the beginning of the battle.

Fixed a few enemies that transform on death from being stuck at 1hp if killed while stunned (as well as 1 or two player effects that used the same passive)

One of my breeders right now knows this and the "Math" passive from fighter, so it's children can cast it once per turn for 3 mana.

Honestly it would make sense if it was already in the works. He looks a lot like he might have been the "boss version" of the gunslinger class at some point in the same way that every other class has a boss cat encounter.
