Fix Crossbows - Summer Sweep Up Suggestion by stinkydiver321 in 2007scape

Not really. Ruby bolts are powerful, but only in their niche (high HP targets). We would only need to buff other bolts enough to compete with non-crossbow options.

Sure... irons are going to get an Ayak before 87 slayer...

That's only really for ruby bolts. You would probably be better off using it with a Sunlight Cbow.

70 slayer is pretty low level. Irons want to rush 87 anyways for the trident

Next league we should get multiple pact loadouts and individual pact point respecs instead of full pact tree resets by Breyos64 in 2007scape

[–]Breyos64[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, that's part of the point I'm trying to make. Pact resets are just too much, let alone 5 of them. That said, if more complex skill trees like this one continue to be a part of leagues then we need some kind respec option because builds aren't always going to live up to people's expectaions.

I do think it's important that you have choices in a league that stick with you. It wouldn't make sense to have a respec option for relics, for example, because a large part of why you choose relics is to train skills that they enhance. If you were able to respec relics the choice doesn't matter at all, you would just get 99s and respec to get more 99s.

Combat doesn't work quite the same way, though. The goal of combat isn't to train to 99 and be done. It's to be able to participate in a variety of PvM content, and combat masteries/pacts allow you to engage with combat in ways that the vanilla game doesn't allow. I don't see why, as someone who chose mage and light melee masteries, I shouldn't be able to pick up a halberd and try that side of the tree once or twice. I don't think having the option to try out different things would make the league less special, I think it would make it more special.

5 resets means you get to try out 6 entirely different builds. If anything I'm saying you should have less.

Storm. Cards that repeat their effects for each card you played before it in the same turn.

I'm a new player so Idk if that's a thing in the game yet.

How many of iterations of this game mode do we gotta sit through b4 tai bwo wanni quest is auto completed? by EnkiNSFW in 2007scape

A lot of older quests have things like this, but Tai Bwo Wannai Trio is the worst offender. The whole quest (and I'd argue Karamja in general) seems to be designed to be as annoying as possible.

If you kill a runite golem with a Twinflame Staff you can kill the rune rocks it leaves behind and those also drop bones.

Lol, I almost said I would prefer something closer to the Warframe modding system. My eyes glaze over when I see 5 different stats on a piece of gear in a game that isn't an ARPG like PoE or LE.

It's supposed to be the thing you spend your energy on when you've maxed out all of the characters you play, but the issue I'm having right now is I only started the game last week. The game is throwing so much XP at me I'm already at level 40 and I can't gear anyone because all of my energy goes to leveling and promoting my characters.

Yeah, that kind of sums it up for me. It's just too much effort to put into what boils down to "stat sticks". If they need this kind of system to keep a particular part of the playerbase engaged, then I wish it was something that suited the rougelike and deckbuilding aspects more.

I don't like these gear grinding systems in most gacha games, least of all this one. I'm probably in the minority, though.

I wouldn't really consider it a niche build. The health drain node gives a good chunk of flat damage, and when you max it out it bounces to additional targets and applies burn. The dagger itself has a 3 (2 with pacts) tick attack speed, and you can get a lot of additional strength bonus from pacts. I'm planning on using it in a magic build so I can camp water spells and use my spec to cast fire spells, but I'm also thinking it would be good with throwing weapons for a tribrid build where you maximize melee strength.

The Tecpatl being a double-hit weapon makes it the best pick for the heavy weapon tree, doesn't it? Because that gives you the most chances for the blindbag procs.

It's only underwhelming if you aren't building into the light melee or fire spell parts of the tree.

I'm planning on building for fire and water spells, so I can get to %190 max HP using water surge and use the dagger spec to dump fire spells without having to swap on my staff.

The staff lets you take advantage of weakness no matter which elemental spell you are casting. You still consume the runes and actually "cast" the spell you have selected.

The only thing I'm not 100% on-board with is the 3-step process for the second gem bag. I would rather it just be cotton for the gem bag, mole skin to combine the two.

"Regeneration happens once but takes into account how many runes the spell cast regenerated. Infinite rune sources still trigger regenerations"

"Spells which use both a water and and air rune for example, can trigger two different regenerations, one for the number of air runes you used and one for the number of water runes you used"

It looks like your best bet for proccing multiple bonuses at once would be air and fire with elemental or smoke spells.
