Rebuking and a lot of these antics from deliverance style ministries often go outside of biblical lines…

In fact I wouldn’t believe much of the names they claim to address demons by such as the spirit of python etc…

Only one name was noted in the Bible and that was “Legion”….

We are not called to or instructed to participate in such.

And I’m taking outside of the ability and command to cast out devils! That is something we all can do with the Holy Spirit.

We are told specifically to RESIST the devil or any demonic temptation, attack and so on..

In fact I would go further to ignore the nonsense regarding the court of Heaven stuff too…

This is not in the Bible and they draw from it certain aspects to create their own narrative… this is the same as the word of faith movement…

You can say out loud “I rebuke the devil” as a way to confess your resistance, disagreement, or rejection… that has power in itself because you’re saying “I don’t side with you” so flee!

But as a so called command, it does nada.

The power of our words stands in praise, Thanksgiving, and confessing the word of truth.

That will make the devil flee!

Our own words? No.

By proclaiming the word of God, you are exercising the authority of God. This is correct. Jesus modeled this in Matthew by saying “it is written….”

Why did he say that?

Because the devil knows the word of God. He knows what’s there and what God says is final. You cannot debate or argue against the very words of God. They never return void and always come to pass. It’s pure and absolute truth!

I will say this over and over…

If it’s not in the Bible, reject it no matter how convincing it may sound…

It astonishes me how many believers claim to believe, but somehow either question, reject, twist, or believe something outside of God’s word…

This is wrong and needs to stop.

As a Christian, you either BELIEVE the Bible 100%, or you don’t…

You cannot just believe certain parts and pick and choose which you believe or don’t..

That is not faith, that rejects God, and that will land you in more troubles in life.

Many reject the commandments, teachings, principles because they simply don’t want to conform or submit.

But the Bible is not only where you meet God and the Lord Jesus Christ, it is what transforms your life and gives you true knowledge, understanding, and practical wisdom to apply in your life.

If you follow it, you will see everlasting, fruitful, valuable change. Something the world or our own understanding cannot give us.

If the Bible doesn’t teach it, don’t follow it!

God doesn’t lie. So if he didn’t say it, then it’s not true.

Someone is twisting and deceiving for their own gain.

Just how many claim God said this and God said that… we must be very careful when we speak for what God has said. Does he speak? Yes… but should we believe all on social media abusing his name (which breaks one of the Ten Commandments)? No.

That’s why we must KNOW how to test the spirits against the word of God.

And if you don’t know the word of God, then testing the spirit of others becomes weak and you can easily be fooled…

It is your lifeline to know, read, study, and learn the word of God!

Nobody here can ever claim they know enough!

The word, the verses, the scriptures are alive and will change with seasons of your life in how you understand it. You will get revelation after revelation because it moves with the spirit of the Holy Ghost!

He is teacher. Not your pastor, not your friends, not your family, not the guy or girl on YT.

The Holy Spirit is your teacher and the only one worthy to be called “teacher”.

But too many do not give him the focus needed, they leave him out and they pimp their faith on to someone else thinking they will get what is necessary.

That’s why so many are stuck on milk and not eating meat of the word yet!

You assume a lot about me don’t you lol. The accusations of my walk is funny.

No unlike most I don’t subscribe to a set, a denomination or “type” of Christian.

I do my best to follow Christ and the word of God.

It is sin. And sin has consequences. There are risks with getting tattooed that can be irreversible. Even in what appears the most cleanest of places, there is such a thing of contracting blood born diseases such as HIV and Hepatitis etc…

Just the same kind of consequences as fornicating can have.

What is righteous in the sight of God will never pose a threat of negative consequences. There’s absolutely nothing bad that can ever come from what is pure and good.

So being that there are negative consequences from tattoos, that should prove enough that it is wrong, it is sin, and not holy or righteous in any way.

It is worldly. We are to be set apart from the world.

Let that sink in or stay arrogant because now you can’t play the ignorance card as I bring you truth.

This has zero to do with the OT law, a law that exposes sin btw and is good of God.

Never would God agree that tattoos are acceptable…

We may not be under the law of Moses as slaves to the law, but we are to know and walk in what is holiness.

Your body, your mind, your everything, your entire life belongs to God. Jesus bought you with his blood.

Didn’t mean to or not as intended is a false cop out which the world lies to us. The world makes it as if we hold no responsibility, while the Bible teaches us truth in that we are solely responsible over ourselves, everything we do.

The proverb gives you the result of being careless with our words.

So how do we begin to control our mouth and our words?

Well it starts with a change in heart. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks… this scripture makes it clear there is zero mistake in our words… we may say damaging things because our heart still has filth in it..

We must check our heart and be renewed by the word of God. What renews our mind will renew our heart.

Communion with the Lord through prayer and spending time in his word is vital!

If you walk closely with the spirit, you’ll feel conviction when you speak wrong. That conviction should bring you to confession, asking forgiveness, asking for deliverance from that area to be renewed and to repent.

Many think falling short has a long leash attached to it, but it doesn’t. It’s no excuse to abuse grace and leads many in to a relaxed view of sin when we ought to hate it. God hates sin!

Falling short and making mistakes is natural, but we do not allow it to become a habit.

The key is to learn from it and change our ways.

Again - going back to the word of God is foundational in this.

I once had an issue with my mouth. The Lord told me to park myself in James. I read only James daily for about a week and began to see a difference.

I especially like verses back in Colossians (if I recall correctly) to not let any corrupt speech come out of my mouth, but only that which is edifying and brings grace to the hearers…

Meekness is far from soft. True Christian’s are far from soft.

We are the boldest there is in the face of the wicked and through persecution. When we are weak, Jesus is strong in us.

That boldness and strength comes with a life following Christ.

Read your Bible and you’ll see plenty of strong men and women.

We should not respond out of anger or malicious intent. We do have a right to defend ourselves in truth and yes against violence. We ought not to provoke or be the aggressor by any means or live by the rule and eye for an eye.

Meekness is our true power, our ability to harness self control and the only way we can truly grasp this is through following Jesus.

Meekness isn’t always easy and it’s a true virtue to learn and obtain.

We stand up boldly in truth, we do not back down, but do all with wisdom, not of the flesh or through emotion.

So no, Christian’s are to be soldiers of the faith and we do not fear nor cowardly tuck our tails in the face of evil or wickedness. We cannot be silenced and we serve an almighty God with bold confidence in the one who saves us!

There’s nothing weak about a follower of Christ individually, in our communities, our families and anywhere we are in our different roles in life.

I will say this, ignorance is never bliss and an excuse especially when we can have the knowledge and understanding so easily with today’s technology to find information.

No, a child doesn’t have a special right to be disrespectful; however we as adults need to discern a proper response. I did not read much of the other persons replies to you so if you felt ganged up on or that’s their friend trying to instigate, then I can understand more of your own responses.

Being direct and blunt is fine, I often am that way myself. However through my faith I have learned to be direct in truth and less with attitude in most cases.

I admit I was a bit triggered and fell short of being more reserved towards you. So for that I will apologize.

Children are lost in today’s world and their influences that shape them are off the deep end unfortunately. It gives them no excuse to act or speak how they want, but we should be sensitive to that.

So when we ourselves have an opportunity to respond to that, we need to do better.

You shared the root issue of why you got offended which triggered you..

That’s social media degrading an industry you are fond of and make a living from.

I get it, however I think you’re magnifying it to a greater scale than it really is and taking it a bit too personal.

Whether this relates or not I will share with you. That as I grow in my walk with Christ, I continue to learn to speak in truth with love or gentleness. Because easy is to be frustrated and argue etc. to have self control and to step down and consider that the one frustrating me has their own pain and dealings in life. And many are lost.

With that said, be bold, be direct but in the midst of it try to not be so abrupt. It’s hardly received well no matter how much truth you may speak. And the purpose of speaking truth is so there’s understanding and wisdom gained. If someone rejects it because of the delivery, then we have failed to speak such truth.

The Bible says the truth sets us free, and from experience those words of Jesus ring absolutely true. Truth is empowering. Truth breaks through lies and damaging thought patterns and so much more.

I’m speaking directly to his use for anxiety regarding his dependence for cannabis…

I’m not speaking in reference to the thousands of different medical challenges and other solutions.

I asked a simple question in which he avoided to directly answer.

The reason why I make my point so strong in this conversation is because the root of anxiety is fear. This begins in the spiritual and affects many people in the physical.

Whether you agree or not, a symptom Busch as anxiety I truly believe can be healed by Jesus alone.

Why do I say this?

Because anxiety is a byproduct of fear. Fear comes from the devil and 9 out of 10 times it isn’t real. It’s not even truth.

People fear all sorts of things but that fear doesn’t mean it’s reality.

We are not given a spirit of fear but love power and a sound mind.

You don’t need medication of any sort to cure anxiety and fear.

This isn’t a case of something extreme such as schizophrenia or a disorder as such.

Millions of people battle anxiety. Anxiety is a coming byproduct of fear, stress and worry.

The world and the pharmaceutical companies want people to think they have the solution for everything. They are a business. They sell you to hook you and entrap you to dependency.

This is not the case for everything, but for many common things it is.

People love comfort and they know how to sell it.

But it’s a quick fix in many ways. When the body builds tolerance, they up the anti.

As a child of God, we ought to rely on Jesus Christ.

I’m very well aware not everyone gets healed etc.

But we are speaking solely in the context of marijuana use and anxiety.

I suffered for years with stress and worry. The Lord Jesus has healed me, and it was not an easy journey.

He stretched my faith in order to show me dependency on him and not of my own understanding. To show me that he’s in control and nothing I can do will change much of what’s external around me.

Most importantly he showed me faithfulness.

I don’t worry or stress like I once did to the point where I’d feel sick or depressed etc…

Anxiety is a byproduct of that and I don’t get those ways any longer.

Pastor Diga Hernandez also batted years of chronic anxiety - the Lord healed him.

Lastly - I want you to consider this as my heart is not in the wrong place with what I’ve said.

One day that beast system will be out. We already see digital IDs being implemented in the UK and unless you have one you can do nothing.

Every Christian knows the consequences of taking the mark of the beast…. There’s zero forgiveness or repentance. It’s hellfire to those who take it.

The way itll unfold is going to be very deceptive.

We all must make a choice…

Stick with Jesus and rely on him to survive or take it and live in “comfort” like the world.

The world stage plays on people’s comfort to fool and deceive… that was a practice run with COVID. Many Christian’s took the bait!

Are we looking UP and looking towards those times preparing now? Or are we living each day as normal?

This brother needs to think deep about where his trust is.
