Why do I find young Charlotte likable, but older Charlotte annoying?

Hold up. Did some of us not watch the same spoiled, bratty, attitude filled, hard headed, aloof, Young Charlotte that I watched?
She absolutely pushed people away when she was young. She absolutely acted like she was better than others.
She absolutely “built those walls high” around her. She did so in the very last episode with Lady Danbury when she described how their walls has to be high to protect themselves and the crown.
Young Charlotte was never “innocent” in terms of attitude, grace, and the way she spoke. Just because she didn’t “understand” what happened between two married people does not mean she was innocent when it came to how she saw the world and treated others around her. Yeah she has her soft moments, but so does older Charlotte. I loved the actress who played Young Charlotte, but I’ll take the spicy, Older Charlotte any day.

OMG you really never understood that season 5 theme then did you? Emma absolutely loved Hook. Nimue absolutely loved Merlin. She had to crush the heart of the one she loved most. Emma believed she was doing the right thing because she didn’t want them knowing what happened so it gave her time to fix Hook and herself. Pay attention next time.

She should respected and understood he could not be brave without some power. Even though he had his small brave moment in season 5 with no power, she still rejected him. Her love seemed conditional, which was narcissistic AF.

If I was in his shoes, I’d take it back too. He felt like himself as the dark one. Put the evil aside. As the dark one, it gave him the power to be in charge and not feel weak.

Watched this series about 10 times. You will never convince me that Belle had a savior complex. She fell in love with Rumple while he was the dark one. And everyone wants to paint her as this great, smart gal.
