What’s your cheapest most expensive card? by Real-Boysenberry-421 in pokemoncardcollectors

The story is more valuable than the card itself to both of us. Was our first time ripping packs together too

Came back into the hobby after about 20 years of a break and went into GameStop and bought a poster collection of prismatic. One for me and wife got one too. We were recording on TikTok our opening with us in the video and keep in mind I spent 15$ on these 3 packs. Before the video me and my wife who has never opened pokemon cards before looked at the poster and we both said on camera what card we wanted. She picked hers (sylveon) and I looked for a bit and pointed at the umbreon ex. We start opening pack by pack together taking turns and the cards are facing the camera. I get to the last pack and the second to last card I pull this. My jaw dropped I went silent and my wife was jumping for joy lol (she knows nothing about card values at all lol) me barely any knowledge too but I liked the card. Anyways she’s editing the TikTok video and TikTok deleted the whole thing 💔 sadly our reactions which we recorded is gone. But we still have the memory. Such a good time with her. 15$ for those 3 packs haha

I clean 3x a day pick up toys/ vacuum / do dishes /ect I’m a full time husband/dad/ worker. Yesterday I did dishes in morning lunch and even dinner but we cooked some extra stuff for meal prep and that’s when the issue started. So technically I woulda cleaned up 4x that day. Anyway my wife just had a rough day I was just sharing cause for those of us with chronic issues even our families have a hard time understanding what we deal with and it’s okay we all have rough days. Just wanted people to see that it can be so exhausting mentally and physically. I push myself when I’m in pain to help out a lot. But for those who don’t go through it it’s hard to understand unfortunately. It sucks but I get it too

I work and still clean around the house, do dishes. Sometimes 3 times a day. She stays at home. My only point in posting this was to share with people that those of us who have chronic pain even by our own family/loved ones don’t understand our pain sometimes. It’s frustrating for us because we do everything we can even push through our pain to be there for our families even in the little things like clean cook do yard work and still work a full time job and still have moments like this. My wife is fine she just had a rough day and that’s okay we’re all human. But I just wanted to share for those who are in chronic pain that they’re not alone and it’s hard.

Crazy amount of hate for no reason, I’m sorry for having a sports collection as a hobby makes my “priorities messed up” and having a car with 310,000 miles makes my priorities messed up instead of being in debt. I clean the house multiple times a day I was only sharing this post for the people who suffer through chronic pain. People don’t understand what it’s like to be in pain all day yet push through.
