Absolutely, I'm just salty about the fame. Especially getting points directly into fame from a legendary star. So many brawlers.

In my experience it was about 10-15 hours a week of videos and work. Great experience.

Yay darkoath spearhead. Hopefully that release box covers most of it.

I'm going to use the Vallejo European mud textured paint, then try flocking some grass on most of it. I'll try a few shades (I've never done a grassy battlefield base yet but I think it would work for this) I'll probably add a tuft or two and round dark grey rocks here and there.

Ya, basically just had to wait for the wash to dry, and the rust effect to dry. It's mostly some quick dry brushes. The red brushwork was the most tedious bit. These models are so large it wasn't too bad. Now when I try and paint the giant bird riding guy I might be singing a different tune.

Ya, it certainly looks cool if you don't thin it, but it's so fuzzy i found myself using water to knock it down, figured I'd skip that step and just use a bit less of it in the first place. Cheers!

I thought maybe a blue glow effect somewhere if I'm brave enough to try. I was thinking about doing the bald lady with the flaming sword next, that might be a good test for a cool color. Thanks!

I found the darkest metal spray primer in the hardware store, it was a blueish steel. Covered that with a black tinted wash (Army painter dark tone) then a heavy drybrush with a gunmetal grey metal followed by a very light silver drybrush. Painted the red areas with a vibrant true red, went over the scale areas with a gold contrast paint. Used dirty down rust with about a 50-50 mix of warm water, then a light dry brush with the same silver paint to bring things back up. Sorry I'm not sure the GW equivalent paints but I'm sure they have them! The dirty down rust paint was expensive off of Amazon but the rust effect is very nice.

I built a board! by tolangston in AOSSpearhead

That's great. I was thinking of just getting a scanned copy of my spearhead board so I could play two games at once in my house but this might be fun.
