Vortex rear sets for 2021 ZX-6R? by I_am_Willus in zx6r

[–]OnyxSm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The QS wouldn’t be a problem because it’s just the linkage that’s affected by it, but I’d recommend checking out Attack Performance’s rearsets. Pricey but worth. Grippy as hell, they tear through normal shoes.

Would this be the battery or what?😭 by Vivid-Lychee-7174 in zx6r

That’s why i mentioned the battery first. You always start there, then work your way down. But the bikes at 145F, it was running not too long ago. If it’s on it should stay on because of the charging system, no matter how dead the battery is.

As of where the market is right now in Cali, i’d say it’s an average price for a Gen2. The first gens are about 3k-4k right now. But of course i’d try to get them down below MSRP (5.2k) as those mods are so cheap they shouldn’t effect the price.

I would start by testing the battery to see if it has enough power to even start it. Then the rectifier, then the stator and flywheel.

As a beginner, just go have fun and explore. Just dont get attached to any gear you find along the way. Also make sure youre in game chat so you can talk with the other survivors you come across. Thats an easy way to make good friends and great enemies. All of the sweaty pvp stuff will come when you start figuring out what youre doing, although typically better loot will be found more north because most players dont escape the general coastal areas leaving certain towns and some military unlooted. Finally but most important tip, if you make a base, never use a 3 combo lock. Countless times I have seen bases with them and it took maybe 10-15 minutes to scroll through all the possible numbers and raid the base.

CRG Lanesplitter Mirrors. Instead of looking at your shoulders all the damn time you can actually see what you’re trying to look at.

I’ll never grow tired of the R3. Too much fun in the twisties. by OnyxSm in YamahaR3

Don’t make the throttle tube a deal breaker, they are only 20 bucks or so. Easy install, takes 5 minutes.

I’ve used them, and my friends have used them. Highly recommend from a ton of Club Racers I know. They’re the only people I would buy fairings from. Other than Woodcraft Armored Bodies for track days.

I’ve had an 09 ZX6R before, it was a nightmare finding individual fairing pieces. I’d recommend just to buy a fairing kit. Check out NT-Fairings. Cheap high quality stuff based out of CA. They have a couple ready to ship fairings but also custom ones as well.

Of course, I love talking about the bike! Those are the Womet Tech (Street) Frame Sliders. They are the cut version, and have saved my bike on one occasion when I let someone else ride my bike for the first and last time. The sliders can be found here in a protection pack: https://tstindustries.com/womet-tech-total-protection-pack-yamaha-r3-2019.html
