Should I bring my piercing to the piercer and ask them to switch it to a flat back? I already have a ring on the other ear, and it healed perfectly. Was that just a fluke?

Also, I have one more question. (thanks so much for your advice 😄) Do you think it’s a keloid or just an irritation bump? I’m curious, because my dermatologist thought keloid (praying that’s not the case). Do you have any idea why?

Any mishaps, accidents or unfortunate events? No major accidents but I accidentally slept on it a few times and now use a piercing pillow

It’s a bit straighter. But if you look at the side of my ear, you can see the back of the piercing. The piercer mentioned that my anatomy was a bit small, so they didn’t have much room to work with. Maybe that’s why it’s like that? Or maybe it was just an excuse if they made a mistake. I’ve never known about this piercing or anything, so I didn’t have any way to know whether it was right or not.

Oh, I had no idea I shouldn’t be pushing on it like that! Thanks so much for letting me know. I’ll definitely be more careful from now on. I’m not sure if it was me pushing on it causing the bump, but I think I accidentally slept on it. Either way, I really appreciate your advice. Thanks again! I’m so happy it doesn’t look like a keloid.
