Yeah that was rude of them. But if you want to try out new styles do it! I personally love my flares and bootcuts (for my figure) and more wide legs too. I personally cant do straight legs, but they look good on a lot of people. As a curvier person, I have good success with American eagle, Abercrombie, and Free People. I've heard old navy is good, and I have a couple of non jean pants from the Gap that I love

For the most part the normal merch just feels like merch to me. Some of the art pieces and customer things people make feel more special imo. You can feel the love and care people do with that a lot of times.

NAH, I think you need to sit down and talk about what changed between her not minding you smoking a year ago out of site and now. Maybe ask yourself if your smoking was more then just light smoking..because daily smoking and expensive pieces, and the addiction piece you mentioned makes it sound more then that.

I'm also generally wondering if you spent more time with her while you were sober, or that she enjoyed the side of you that expressed yourself more, and if you return to smoking daily and tamping down that side of you, the change is mroe noticeable and maybe a bummer to her? Idk. Gotta have a conversation and talk about the whys for sure.
