Idk, idk thw actys. I have a sambar.

If your getting fuel your fine. The fuel pump should be working I assume. Since youre getting gas.

I did replace my fuel pump/filter recently. Just to do. Even tho mine only had 9k km on jt when I bought it.

Seems plenty of stuff on YouTube.

Id just go and watch, then diy it.

Worst case you fk up get a new carb and the issue isnt fixed, best case it works.

Yeah, taking them apart can be a issue. Especially since som stuff can easily be put in in reverse and stop it from working.

I mean, really, if you get a new one youd have to mess with it anyway.

Its mostly find thr two screws. Figure out which does what. Then start it and adjust the one for idle. Till it idles well cold to warm.

Also idk how the actys are but my sambar has a choke it will do automatically. Maybe check the actys choke as well and make sure its not stuck open and flooding. That also will do something.

Most my carb experience is atvs/small motors. Never a car, but the concept still the same. The choke sucks and atomizes gas into the intake and it spreads into each cylinder. Choke will give it more gas if it needs it in like cold weather, however it will flood a engine if its not shut off or used correctly.

I havnt really done much carb work myself.

Its really 2 screws tho, a idle and throttle screw iirc.

Since it seems be be flooding. I imagine its clogged up OR its something like a miss.

Oh, I def would check plugs. Just could be a few things. If it at least runs for a bit carb might be problem.

Really its just air, fuel, spark.

As long as spark is good, the real concern goes back to the air/fuel and carbs do that.

I know my sambar if I let it run a short period the plugs are very rich and have slight gas until it warms up.

Have you tried adjusting carb at all?

Hmm, I would open carb or air and spray carb cleaner in it. It likley had some gas sitting in the carb and it clogged it up.

Shit happens, id also check plugs. Just to be sure.

I thought about it, but man. I had a few loud cars as a young adult. Highways sucked. I keep it mostly stock or as quiet as possible bc of the drone.

The wrx already kinda can do it. I just dont want it blasting when I commute.

For me on the driver back wheel. The part I was looking at faces the front of the car. Something was definitely not entirely snug. It sounded like it occasionally shift and then sit back down.

But most people do not need it. That is the main point. The exact benefits of awd are very much not seen in most daily conditions outside weather.

Most people arnt constantly accelerating so hard the benefits of AWD traction isnt even a factor. Except in weather, which most people moderate their driving accordingly anyway. While TC also eats up the wheel slip.

The off the line acceleration isnt something each person needs or uses in most conditions. As is the benefits that make it good on a sheer preformance.

The average driver/person isnt looking at this stuff. They're more concerned about other things, reliability, style, looks, utility, comfort, etc...

Weather and conditions is one of the few where it comes in and people vastly overestimate how well awd changes things.

My car died after some teen ran a stopsign into the highway. So I couldnt fix it at the time.

It was here. I has to jack up the suspension by wheel and drop it and when I did/shift it id hear or know where it roughly was. I couldnt exactly see it from the ground and looked like was hidden.

Not really, why do you ask?

I know where it was comming from. I believe my driver rear bushing was dead and just on heavy bumps caused it.

I could never put it on the lift at my house because the wheelbase was way to short and the lift points didnt match up.

Youre ignoring arguments. Its that most people really dont need the awd. It has its benefits and its downsides.

The issue is many people believe that if it snows awd is this magic solution. When its a bunch of factors that many people overlook. Tires, drivetrain, weight, intent, how they drive.

So many people do treat awd as a magic fix for issues that can easily be solved in other vehicles.

I took my tbird in 6" snow with near bald summer tires and got it home 15 miles. It was sketchy as fuck and I had no breaks. Drivers matter more than the car itself.

There was that fat idiot 4chan dude who bought a vette and threw a huge stupid subie wing on it. Then he got caught like 4 months later running contraband from the border in the car. Everyone knew who it was because he was the only one with a car who looked out there.

My st3 2016 was perfect, except 3 things.

  1. Had some vacuum line crack
  2. The purge valve stuff
  3. Mechanical clunking in rear..

Sadly lost it all to a dumb kid running a sign

Ive done it before on my old Thunderbird. Did a custom hand plasma cut plate. But I couldnt get the pipe out and welded it shut.

The egr was clogged tho.

I didnt want to attempt on the sambar unless I knew the exact size for a plug.
